Hey guys and gals! I've been lurking on here for a couple weeks now after finding an interest in e-cigs. The past week all I've been doing pretty much is researching and watching videos on YouTube I finally caved a bought myself a ego-t with the 900mah batteries.

I've been smoking for almost 6 years and have been at a pack a day for about the past 3-4 years. Now I'm about a pack and a half to two packs a day and I can't stand it. I wake up with uber congestion, I can't run or play with my gf little brother for more than 5 min, and I can't stand having to buy and smell like a caned deodorant for work. I've tried quitting every way many many times and wasted lots of money on patches and gum. I've tried cold turkey and it never lasted more than a day if that.

When I found out about ecigs a while ago I got a njoy pen style for Christmas and liked the idea alot, but hated what I now know are auto batteries and that I never had carts. Now that I've done my research I've learned about juice, batteries, and different methods of dripping and tanks and the like.

I ordered my kit just a bit ago with 6 5ml 18mg different flavors (pipe, cigar, Churchill, d'dof, melon, and green tea) from liberty-flights.com all for 72 bucks with the 20 percent off they have. I'm a little weary on ordering the "high" version, I hope it's not to much. I normally switch between camel lights and filters, with the occasional pack of reds or new ports.

Right now I'm stoked waiting for everything to come in (I've heard they are fast, I'm hoping for Saturday or Monday delivery). I'm looking forward to making my own juice and maybe even some mods (depends on how well the ego-t 900mah battery works for me).

One last thing (sorry this isn't the greatest post, it's hard to write a lot on the iPad keyboard) my girlfriend is in the same boat as me with the pack a day (probably less) and she is interested in the ecigs, but can't afford to cash in on one right now. If she likes mine I'm thinking of ordering h a joye510 set I found with a pcc to get her started, but I think the high may be to much for her (Turkish silvers, pretty much ultralights). I've heard great things about the 510 but how well do the batteries do with the pcc?

Again thanks for reading and I promise this is the last time I make a long post without a real keyboard haha.

between here and there
Hello and welcome,,,,,glad you found ecf.....Liberty-flights.com is a great hardware vendor.......I personally have not tried their juices, so I cannot speak to that. They are plenty of ejuice vendors registered here at ecf so if the ones you ordered don't quite cut it don't be disappointed........sound like you got a great deal and congrats on making the switch...you're gonna luv it.....

18mg hitwise is sort of like lights (though the hit may be harsher w/ those 100% PG juices you got)

I usually buy my juices at juice makers instead of hardware vendors but for your first kit you need some juice right away so it's good to buy with your kit. I prefer 70pg/30vg and 50/50, prefer 80pg/20vg for longer carto reuse

For your girlfriend - are her cigs non-menthol? If so have her try Backwoods Brew Casablanca in 10-12mg since she is ultralights (or you could get it in your level and see how she like it that way) - it's a lighter complex Turkish blend and was my first all day vape.

Re 510's - they are 180mah. About 1.8 hours of moderate vaping. if you get them I recommend MANUAL batteries very strongly. I recommend Joye brand, the original manufacturer (see Cignot.com). I recommend a regular 510 manual kit w/ 2 batteries and 2 atomizers, not the 510-T. You can always buy a 510T atty and tanks separate but I think Boge cartomizers make more sense - hold more, keep your flavors separate - they are a recurring cost but with a thinner clear juice I can get 2+ weeks of good performance out of a Boge. Slim 510 can only use the standard resistance cartos and attys. Slim 510 cannot use the Ego charger. Best PCC for standard 510 batteries (including the manuals I recommend) is at NoSmokeVA.com. I actually prefer the long 510 mega xl manuals (50% more charge, 128mm long w/ a carto) but the only PCC for them is a non-roomy metal one.

Hey guys, thanks for the nice welcome! I really cannot wait till this thing comes in (hopefully tomorrow, a guy can dream right? Haha)

I think I'm just gonna grab a few new batts and maybe some cartomizers with my next paycheck. Has anyone used the ego passthru? I think that would be nice cause I tend to chain smoke (and soon probably chain vape :D) when I'm sitting watching tv or on the computer, and I like that it's still a battery when you unplug it. I've also heard good things about the 510 cartomizers, just need to get a syringe I guess. I am just wanting to try a couple things that have high capacity, that's what I'm really looking for since my first was so low.
