I finally ordered one with my tax return. Decided on the silver mini and an extension cap as I like the teardrops with blue led. Got two 18350 batteries and two 18490 batteries and the charger.

Should be pretty much set. All I really have for now to top it are some novas but they will do for time being until I can try out and research more delivery devices. Tried just cartos on my ego battery and didn't really like them. Probably have to try once more with a tank but liking the clearos and mini nova on my ego. Got the regular size already but it just looks silly with my ego so its waiting for its new friend.

I'm sure you're going to love your new Provari. It will definitely be a step up from your eGo.

I recommend trying different juice delivery devices on the Provari. Everyone has their own preferences for different reasons. I prefer cartotanks for the most consistancy and best flavor production from my own experience, but I am certainly aware that other vapors enjoy the string wicked delivery devices such as the vivi nova tanks and clearomizers. Doesn't matter which you end up liking the most as long as it works best for you.

I recommend you take a look at my blog articles, found in the link below my avatar.

You'll find numerous articles written specifically for new vapors, including a primer on the more common juiced delivery devices, cartotank setup, safe devices to use with cinnamon flavors, among other articles.

Enjoy your new Provari. :toast:

And delivered today! Tested one of the 18350 batteries out of the box and it showed 4.0 so good enough! Charged other three bats already too!

Though the ohm meter says my vivi nova 2.4 ohm head is actually about 3.2 ohm. One weird thing is it reads like 2.6 or eben less right at first and levels out around 3.2. Is that normal?

Looking forward to enjoying it! Wonder if bobas bounty works in a vivi nova well...hmmm...use in evod on my ego and works great but is ego threaded so won't work on my provari :(

OK, one more question. With my vivi on top of the provari whenever I run a battery check or atomizer ohms test I can hear it firing my nova, I hear some pops and crackles come out...normal or no?

I read in the online manual for the Provari that it is indeed normal to briefly fire when checking ohms.

yep, normal. it actually applies voltage to the atty to get a more accurate reading of the battery or the resistance... normal normal normal... unlike me :banana::banana:

Hmmm, I thought it would take the EVOD? If not there is an ego adapter I am sure would work.

Yeah I meant to order one with it and forgot in the excitement...lol. its OK though, I just ordered a standard and xl IBTanked tanks, some prepunched xl cartos, a couple filling tools/drip tips, and added a carto punch for the boge cartos I have already...should handle the bobas no problem!
