The best in recent memory, that's for sure. When you get to be my age birthdays' are just another day...at least in my family (and I like it that way).

I looked long and hard at the silver and gold EGAs but decided I wanted to go for NCO rather than officer. The Reo just screams utilitarian to me.

But an officer's EGA on a polished tumbled raw...now that would look pretty snazzy.

I wont powder coat the atomizers . I have tried it can be done but it wouldn't be worth what I would have to charge to make it worth it . You could very easily spray paint a rm2

I hit the big 35 tomorrow and I'm already getting some sneak peaks at what lays ahead!

I'm sure my father would disown me if I gave him an officers EGA, but you are absolutely right about the utilitarian design and how the officer's EGA on a spit shined tumble. I could also definitely see getting a disposable REO in an MRE with built in can opener....LOL!

Myself though, I'm an Army Tanker & Trucker, I could totally dig the Sherman and cross sabers that is our branch insignia subdued. As long as its OD or woodland, none of this pixilated BS with Velcro fasteners instead of the magnets!

Yes, please do. I like this idea - any preparations (like sanding) before you paint? Probably a pin in the air hole to prevent clogging? Spray paint like just from a hardware store can?
