Just ordered the roughstack maxi v2

I must be addicted to drop 130 dollars on three 50 ml bottles of 24mg e-juice, a roughstack maxi v2 starter kit with two 16340's for 6v vapping(first time trying hv vapping) and two 18650's for 3.7 v vapping, 510 drip tip, smok tech 4.0 ohm atty and smok tech 4.0 ohm cartos. i think i did pretty good price wise. this will be my first mod device any of you guys own it any tips or anything you found out along the way?

I love the smoktech 2.5Ω dccs on my vv mod. Madvapes sells those and smoktech 3.0Ω dccs that you might want to try on your 6v mod.

Thanks max i will look into i guess what i am trying is a higher ohm to lower ohm to see were the sweet spot is and i guess i picked up the roughstack because i can run it at 3.7 volts. i wanna get a vv mod but don't want to shell out the cash until i know i am going to like 6v vaping. lol i know that really doesn't make sense but if you would see the amount of 3.7 v devices i own lol you would agree

i have lower ohm carto's and atty's but what is nice when i ordered the rough stack i got two 16340 batteries for it so i can vape at 6 volts. btw dormouse what part of pa are you from?

Do you need to buy the short tube to use it at 3.7v? Or is that just for a different size of battery?

i get out that way from time to time i am about 30 miles east of pittsburgh, westmoreland county.

from what i am seeing with the roughstack v2 to use it at 3.7v it requires just swapping the two 16340's for a single 18650

I know what you mean. I have a crapload of ego batts laying around, so I keep alot of smoktech 1.7Ω xl single coil cartos around for use with them, since they are my favorite for the ego batts.

However, in trying to find the carto I liked best for my ego batts, I ended up with a huge stockpile of other cartos. Not wanting those other cartos to go to waste, I justified shelling out the coin for a vv mod (hey, it made sense to me, and satisfied [briefly] my itch for more toys to play with). Talk about not making sense...

I suggested trying the 2.5-3.0Ω dccs just because, while even 1.5Ω dccs were underperformers on an ego batt for my tastes, I really love the higher resistance dccs at higher voltage. Gives great warmth without a burnt taste.

what the heck if it keeps me from smoking analogs, i will try anything lol. i have been really stuck on 2.4 ohm fluxomizers on my 808's but i have this battery gotvapes sold i can no longer find on there site its a vv(kinda) ego clone battery, you give it 5 clicks its 3.3v another 5 clicks its 3.7v and another its 4. something volts, its not bad i think i might go vv box mod before something like the buzz pro but who knows. but back to the ego batt what i think is fun is just the little adjustments to get yourself better vapor i kick the voltage up and i use less nicotine because of the throat hit. its is really kind of fun to experament.

well what i really like about madvapes is that they have that reward program it really lets me try juices that normally i wouldnt try just because i wouldn't shell out the cash to try something i might not like. i have found a few flavors i really like doing that
