Hey everyone,

I just jumped on the E-cig bandwagon and decided to go with a Vapor King. Everything I have read and watched (YouTube) lead me to the decision of going with Vapor4Life.com and the Vapor King. After smoking for 25 years this is the only bit of hope i have ever experienced.

I ordered yesterday evening (around 5:00pm Eastern time) so my order should arrive in a few days (I'm on the East Coast). The only problem I've encountered thus far is this:

When Vapor4Life sent me an email confirmation of my order the color choices I made were not reflected in the confirmation email. Instead of a white PCC case and white batteries somehow they are shipping me a Leopard PCC (Oh Noooo!) and Chrome batteries. Hopefully they have corrected the problem (I requested a change) but that all depends on whether or not my order has already been shipped.

I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if the system is at fault. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? I am completely sure that I chose a white PCC and white batteries. either way, it isn't the end of the world.

Hopefully I've made a good decision in choosing Vapor4Life's Vapor King.

One serious concern I have is the lack of a contact phone number. Does anyone have a phone number for Vapor4life.com? The absence of a contact number has me slightly worried.

Thanks,

Laz.

Hi Laz,

First of all if you e-mailed VFL customer service I believe your order will be fixed before shipment.

When your order arrives a V4L business card will be included and it DOES have the V4L phone number on it.

I could be wrong about this but:

I believe V4L (and many other e-cigs sites) do not have a phone number posted on their site because honestly I do not think they would get much packaging done if they did (they'd be answering the phone all day) and they ship HUNDREDS of orders per day.

It's kind of like if you have questions contact us via e-mail and if/when when you become a customer you get access to our phone #. Again, I would like to stress: A LOT of vendors do this and if I sold e-cigs I probably would as well.

I run my own business and during packing and shipping hours I let any call go to voice mail - my priority as a business owner is to get actual orders shipped out ASAP and to deal with potential orders as time allows.

Do I lose some customers that way? Probably but again my priority is to my established customers not potential ones.

I use the same shopping cart software that V4L does and I believe it was probably user error as the software is very reliable. At least that was my thought when I believed I ordered a black battery but my order confirmation showed a blue battery. Knowing the software as I do I assumed it was my fault.

If v4l doesn't change your order and you get the Zebra one I am sure they will exchange it for you.

Hey Yanks,

I agree completely. I was just talking about this very same issue with my wife. The company sounds like a Mom & Pop Operation (which is a good thing!). Constant phone calls would disrupt packing and shipping. And I would bet that most of the phone calls (if the number was available on the website) would be about trivial matters anyway. It makes sense to keep your phone number reserved for loyal customers.

I did choose the colors I wanted (White for the PCC and White for the batteries), of that I am sure. But I still think you are correct, somehow it was user error. I chose the colors (White & White) and then handed over control of my computer to a close friend since he was ordering the kit for me under his credit card. Somehow he must have missed something while going through the ordering process and I should have taken more care to make sure everything was perfect.

The colors of the PCC (Leopard) and the batteries (Chrome) listed on my order confirmation email are the two colors listed in the drop down menu before a customer even begins the selection process. So it makes perfect sense to me; that the error was most likely user error and not the software. If this wasn't so then I wouldn't have received an order email showing those two colors. In other words, if a person doesn't input any color choices they will automatically get Leopard and Chrome because they are the first to be listed in the drop down menu.

Does that make sense? I'm having trouble conveying my thoughts into text today.

Thanks so much for responding. I'm still slightly worried that I'll receive a Leopard PCC and chrome batteries (chrome isn't so bad but the Leopard Skin PCC would be horrible!).
I emailed V4Life about an hour and a half ago and still haven't gotten a response. I know they are busy but I hope they take a look at my email before shipping my order. If they catch it before it goes out I won't have to worry about mailing back the PCC. If they don't catch it then I'll have to mail it back to them for a replacement. I originally wanted a Black PCC but it seems that black is their best seller.

Thanks for all the help brother.

P.S.,

I don't see an "edit button" for editing spelling or grammar mistakes after posting? Could someone enlighten me on this little problem? Thank you.

I understand what you are trying to say. :p I'n my case, I have caught myself using the browser's Back (page) button to check something just before going to checkout, and the item's default options on that page are reset and carried forward when I continue.

As part of the forum's "anti-spam" measures, you will not have a few "privileges" until you reach a post count of 10. One of these is the option to edit your posts.

Thanks for the help and information fellas.

Valerie got back to me through email and fixed my problem (PCC color and battery color). Since my original posts I've been reading through some of the forum rules for new members (the ten post rule, etc.) and know about the V4L sub-forum also, thank you.

Can't wait until it arrives!
