Well I think its two years old .. Could be almost 3. I used it every day - it never left my side and I dropped it hundreds of times, tossed it at the kids and used it as a hammer ones or twice.

It started leaking but that's about the worst that happened so far.

I went ahead and ordered the rebuild kit... Wala! like new and NO LEAK.

Too cool - Thanks Reos mods!

Good for you!!! I can truthfully say that as long as Robert is alive and kicking, I will NOT ever be rebuilding a REO. I like trying new stuff, but I would be sick with nerves taking a REO apart and putting it back together. Now if you could just re-anodize it, huh?
I kinda like those wear-spots on my Grand. They fit in with my grey hair and wrinkles. I figure I'll have lived a full life if I can last until my gold-and-black is completely silver.:)

My grand is right at two years old. Got a rebuild kit coming in the mail. Is the rebuild process really as easy as it looks in the video on the Reo website.?

My daughter just rebuilt 4 of hers. She said the first one was a little intimidating. But she did it just fine. After one they were a piece of cake to rebuild.

I had an issue with the rebuild in this vintage Mini. I couldn't get the delrin cover the fit snuggly in place and I didn't want to leave it as is for fear of putting too much stress on screw and/or threaded hole. Robert wanted to check it out so I sent it to REO spa. Should arrive there today. Will report his findings/comments.

Mini will be headed to West Texas (trade for a Killer 705 - and, yes he made out good on the trade but, hey, gotta spread the REO virus and Killers are next to impossible to get - this is Killer #3 for me - and no worry. I have three more black Mini:D)

This is guys first Mini. In the meantime I sent him a virtually pristine loaner.
