Just received my eGo today. Still charging but thankfully I also got a PT 'cause I couldn't wait... I think I've finally found that "magic pill" I've been waiting for to help me quit smoking. We'll see. I don't want to set myself up for failure.

Anyway... I was hooked before it even got here. I've read everything I could on this site and have been watching lots videos for the last few days of waiting, but have a couple questions.

I ordered both sample packs of juice from Johnson Creek (original and red smoke) for a total of 17 samples (i think). Do I REALLY have to clean the atomizer between each "sample" or can I just switch cartridges (I have plenty of them coming too). I know the first flavor will linger... but how much really? I have no unflavored liquid for between and one spare atomizer.

Ok.. here's my dumb ones. Do I push the manual button as I'm drawing up to my lips? or does that waste juice? Similarly, Do I let go of the button 1/2 a sec or so before i stop?

I'm sure I'll have more... but I'm on my first hour :p THANK YOU ALL

I usually end up pushing the button right as the tip hits my lips. It won't take long before you get the hang of it. You aren't going to waste a huge amount of juice unless you just keep holding down the button over and over without vaping. I think the eGo has a 10 second cut off anyway.

When your cart starts running dry you'll see a decrease in vapor and may get a burnt smell and taste. That's how you know it's time to top off the cart. How long a flavor will linger when you switch carts is really going to depend on how strong the flavor is. If you were vaping something with menthol or cinnamon, then the taste may linger for a long time. Those flavors are hard to get out of an atty. For the most part, you can just blow out the atty to get the excess juice out of it and that will do the trick. You don't have to do this if you don't want to. It's completely up to you.

Ego is a great way to start, just got my ego PT and love it !
When I'm trying out flavors, I'll start with the weak and move up
Sometimes use a little PG dripped in to clear flavor ( usp PG is at many pharmacies )
Other times I like to mix , cherry + leomonaide or orange cream and ?
With these little sampler bottles, I just drip a couple drops straight on the atty
Enjoy your new obsesion and vape happy :)

I drip, but both when I use carts and when I drip I don't clean the atty between every flavor. I do cycle through a few attys and clean them once a week, but that is just to make the atty work better. The first flavor lingers but lets face it, it still tastes better than analogs.

I usually push down the button as soon as I start drawing from the e-cig. Then I let go a second before I stop drawing. I seem to get great vapor that way. You'll figure out what works best for you.

Fun isn't it?:) Yeah know, I just had to vape a bit to see when I most often hit the button since I just don't think about it anymore :vapor: Seems that I often put the ecig in my mouth before I hit the button and release the button as I'm removing the e-cig from my mouth. Whatever way you choose to do it it will become second nature to you and you simply won't think about it in a couple of hours.

As far as the juices go if I have several new ones to try I usually try them out in batches of similar flavors rinsing out the cart filler after 3 or 4 and trying to leaving the stronger flavored ones for last as they will linger on the atty for much longer than the lighter flavors. After vaping for 2 months now I don't even HAVE to try them all out on the first day but often try some that first day and more of them the second day. Remember that they very likely may taste entirely different to you a week from now than they do today. Your flavor buds are going to be constantly changing over the next few weeks. Good luck and have fun!!:)

You don't have to clean between flavors, I usually don't, but it really depends on what flavor I just finished. Some go well together and some don't. I have noticed that menthol seems to stick to the attys and everything after that tastes of menthol. Not really a big deal to me, but some may not like the mix of flavors.
