And as a fellow G6 lover some juice flavors you'll probably still prefer in your cartos too. Try your carto with cone on your Triton and see the difference a battery can make.

This exactly!! I had always used mini tanks with the G6, and then the Triton tanks with the triton. I complained for months that I didn't like Halo juice, it tasted so "off" to me. Then recently I started using carto's instead of tanks, and the Halo juice tastes amazing to me now. I have no idea why, but the juice just tastes better to me from a carto, this may be the case with you too. The cartos work on either the G6 or Triton, so no bothering with two separate tank sizes, and they look really cool on the Triton with the cone.

Hi all!

I just received my Triton kit in the mail yesterday! I ordered the black 650 mAh batteries - which match my black G6's. It is fantastic. I filled the first tank with some Tribeca, and have been vaping it ever since. The taste of the Tribecca is completely different from the taste in the G6 mini tanks. It does taste much smoother. The coil also, to me, seems to not be getting as hot as the coil on the mini tanks. The Triton tank also "pulls" or draws completely different. It is a MUCH, much "looser" draw, and takes a very little pull to operate - which I'm getting used to.

However, the only odd thing that I've noticed a bit about the flavor of the Tribeca in the Triton tank is that I think that I got a little bit of the flavor of the wicks (which was not fantastic) when I first started using the brand new tank. Is this common, or has anyone else experienced this? It seems to be decreasing, which is good - as I am looking to purely get the flavor of the juice alone.

I used the first 650 mAh battery for a little over an hour, and then charged it up to top it off (which I seem to remember being the advised course by DaveOno, if I'm not mistaken?). I've been reading several threads to get any advice, but would love to hear from any of you as well! Overall, I am really liking the Triton. I also like that it seems to burn smoother and not heat up as much. From using the mini-tanks, I was starting to get some scortching & soreness on the roof of my mouth, which was not pleasant. I don't think that I was vaping too too often, and it was getting a bit frustrating, so I am hoping that things will get better with using the Triton (but I still certainly plan to use my G6's)

Congrats for your new Triton setup! For a compact device, Halo Tritons are hard to beat. Very dependable. Don't forget to pick up an extra USB charger with your next order. It is always good to have backup, and you can charge two batteries simultaneously.

One more thing- No harm if you charge your batts before low voltage cutoff. I charge mine every morning regardless of voltage. They are still going strong, even after over 10 months of vaping.

Thanks for your advice. I plan to buy some more empty cartos at some point (likely LR's), and will try some juices in there, as well as in the mini-tanks and Triton tanks. I think that I will usually prefer the tanks, if only just based upon the fact that I can put many different kinds of juices in the same tank after cleaning. You are correct that the Triton looks pretty stealthy with a carto and the cone on. I have a carto/cone set up with Voodoo on my second Triton battery right now. Thanks!
