Just received my Omega from ecigz

I just tried 6 v vaping for the first time and it nearly blew my doors off. Im using backwoods 24mg, would it be better to try a lower mg for 6 volts?

I recommend doing that, yes.

I vape 24 mg by nature, however if I am doing 5v, I vape 18, 6v I lessen to 12. It depends on the juice really, and you'll find what works for you.

Congrats! ... and like BA stated most definitely. The Omega will run hotter than other 6V device because it comes fitted with a native "hot spring" (copper), less resistance.
