Just received some good news!

My wife got off the phone just now with a friend of ours, and it turns out she and her husband made the switch to vaping 2 weeks ago. They picked up a couple of kits from the local flea market (I didn't realize we had a vape booth there) and they've been going at it (the vaping, I mean ) happily ever since. Sounds like they picked up a 510 or 808 kit apiece. (Meg's not really interested in the ins and outs, having quit via pregnancy 8 years ago.)

I haven't talked to them myself, but it sounds like they paid a little much ($80 apiece) but without seeing what they got it's hard to tell.

Hell, if it keeps them off cigarettes, it's money well spent, in my opinion.

Meg also mentioned that I'm DIYing now and her friend was very interested in that. Guess I'll have to bring some of my gear and juice over for them to try one of these days.

That's nice, I don't know one single person who vapes in my town (Lethbridge). I'm stuck inside with the kids most days, mind you.

The more people who quit analogs the better. It's so nice to hear of a friend who quit knowing they are feeling better and healthier. You would be a great friend to show them some really good juice and explain the better equipment available. I wish I knew someone else in my town or area who vaped.

I got some onto vaping this evening an Elder from my community. She's 75 and now in a wheel chair, she told me that she used to smoke 2 packs a day and would wake up in the middle of the night to have a smoke. Now she's down to a carton a week.

We were having dinner and I had prepared a package for her including a my newly acquired eGo Twist with case juice tank and some juice. She vaped it like a pro but mg 24 mg RY4 hit her like a ton of bricks.

Plan B: I ordered a great starter kit with the appropriately "dosed" juices at 12 mgs and one or 2 at 18 mgs. She'll get her kit by Tuesday.

Anyone else with "older" vapours?

It could be that, as she has been cutting down (to the current carton per week), she is used to taking very long and hard draws from cigs and therefore, is doing the same with the eGo.

My brother began vaping last November, spending quite a bit of time and money on cheaper, leaky systems and carto clogging eliquids until he found something that worked for him. He stopped by my place in late May, bringing a couple of those systems and two bottles of juice. I've been vaping ever since. He's a VERY good brother
