First impressions are two big thumbs up. I just purchased a set of 5 empty carts and a single conomizer to use on my existing Tornado kit. Here's how my unboxing went..

1. Grabed an empty cart, did't fill it yet, and connected it to the conomizer, which breaks the seal. Gave the cart a good 180 twist to really open up that membrane. Then pulled it out. Now, instead of wrestling with the tight end cap, I just used the syringe or could even direct drip into the hole that was pierced.
2. Connected it back onto the conomizer
3. Slaped it on the battery (Mega battery).
4. Took 4 quick and hard draws with the battery OFF. This gets the feeder system going.
5. Took a few puffs to burn off the excess primer..
6. And away I went. Took me about 2 minutes from openning the package to vaping pure juice, dripped onto atomizer goodness.

Lovin' it. Could not have been simpler and the performance is outstanding. This will be my sole vaping method for quite a while. I'll give an update after a few days with it.

Vaped through about 1/3 of a tank. Vaping Vanilla Caramel Tobacco, 24 mg from Velvet Vapors (the velvet blend of vg/pg). I highly highly recommend this juice, it's my all-day juice. Smooth and delicious vanilla tobacco, nothing overwhelming, just velvetty tobacco with vanilla undertones. Tastes as good as it ever has with the tank. I've had no dry vapes, I give it a little quick hard draw every now and then with the battery off just to make sure everything is flowing along, but the first vape has been as good as the last so far. I'm excited, still early I know, but this system is working great so far.

I can't wait to try it!!!! Hopefully they will come out with other colors too. I just bought a green and blue ego with mega cone atty's and I also have a white and titainium Riva kits, glad I have a black Riva kit and a black ego passthur charge n go. I do klike the ego mega attys . I have cylinder and cone ones they both work great, but I like the look of the cone shaped atty better.

I've been through a couple cart-fulls of liquid now. That's about a full day of vaping. Still going strong. Vaping is very consitent, I've had practically no drop in flavor. Tastes the same as direct dripping (because it basically is). On the rare occasion where I feel the taste starting to slightly diminish, I just give a coupe quick and hard pulls with battery off and it comes right back immediately. And it vapes great right to the last drop of the cart. I would recommend not filling the cart completely to the top, leave a small air gap, this seems to help get things flowing fast on a newly filled cart. One great thing I noticed is that nothing is leaking. Not even a drip on the battery side of the cono-mizer. Unlike with most 510 atomizers that inevitably leak a little bit at the battery connection, I haven't noticed a drop with the tank system yet. The tank system has really made my Tornado an almost all-day device in itself. No need to lug around extra juice bottles, or cartos, or be concerned with topping off carts, no dripping and driving, none of that. Just pre-fill 2 or 3 carts, which will not leak even when peirced (well, if you shake it, it will leak, but you can just throw on the cap over the peirced hole), maybe grab an extra battery and I'm truly good to go all day with a consistent vaping machine. I can swap flavors in an instant, my fingers stay nice and dry (which after 4 months or so of vaping I was getting pretty fed up with). Two big thumbs-up after day 1. The Tornado Tank (eGo-T) is a winner so far.

Good info Lugnut. How long before the new flavour comes through when you change over tanks?

Very quickly, I'd say about as long as it would to clear out an atty you just dripped one or two drops onto.

Another little fun thing is that it's been very easy to mix flavors right in the cart. No need to use a separate bottle. I do this a lot with menthol flavoring. When the cart was about halfway full of my favorite tobacco flavor, I felt like it was a bit strong on the nic side and wanted to add some menthol flavor. So I just filled the other half of the cart with low mg menthol and gave it a little shake.. perfectly mixed. Snap it back on the conomizer (hate that name) and I'm vaping menthol tobacco 5 or 6 puffs later.

Thanks for your detailed instructions how you got this working so beautifully for you.
Looking forward to your updates as far as how long the Tank Cono-mizer works for you.

By the way, I had a studio and lab in Escondido for 17years. The town certainly has grown since I left in 1994 but the Barbecue Pit still has the best barbecue in the world.

I've lived here going on 10 years or so now, I really like it. The king of BBQ around here now is Pete's BBQ just down the road in Vista. Pete's was featured on The Food Channel on that Man vs. Food show. Simply incredible ribs.

My sister lives in Vista not far from Pete's. It is good. Try the sandwiches at Barbecue Pit when you don't want to drive ALL the way to Vista...lol.

I was wondering what kind of syringe you were using? does it have a needle?

The hole is not tiny like in cartos.

You can use blunt tip needles (18gauge) or even bigger.

You also have the option to pop the cap off and drip directly into the tank.

Or just drip directly into the hole (without removing the cap)...very easy.

I'm getting more convinced this is the system I will recommend to friends and co-workers who want to get into vaping. Not necessarily the Tornado re-branding, but the eGo tank system in general.

That's my thinking as well. Trying to explain to people the procedure for getting a CE2 Carto to work properly would be enough to turn me off !!

Compared to my regular eGo, I am loving the fact that I haven't once tasted liquid on the eGo-T. No mess, no burnt taste, immediate taste after switching liquids.... I find the taste a tad more intense on my regular eGo, though it is cleaner on the eGo-T.

But. I have only been using it for app 10 days. And experiences seem to indicate that the vaporizer starts having a sudden burnt taste after app 20-30ml. Which isn't a lot. Some have had success with vodka bath, hot water cleaning, or just using a VERY thin syringe to carefully stick it through the built-in tube, making new tunnels into the fibers.

Since guarantee on my current set is 6 months, I am not too worried. But I am unsure if I would be willing to but new atomizers every 2-3 weeks... We'll see how long my current set holds up. :)

They are only poking the needle into the fiber behind the heating coil to get liquid through there again. But someone already trashed the coils that way, so this is not a preemptive measure, only to be used when nothing else helps. And use a very thin needle.

I am still not there, luckily; will do a first hot water cleaning today, see how that goes... but so far, both my eGo and eGo-T are working fine. I have two of each, so a sudden breakage won't leave me stranded. :)
