Well my tank atomizer arrived today, with 5 tank cartridges. I ordered them yesterday from totally wicked.............now that's some fast service!!!!!! And I also ordered some e-liquid to go with this from liberty flights. I've just got into diy e-liquid and am not quite happy with my mixes enough to use on the tornado tank to be able to see how it delivers.
So I opened it up and it was in bubble wrap, took that off and blew out the atomizer.............man did this have some primer fluid in it lol. then i opened up one of the carts that go with it. now i've read a lot of people say that they have issues with the cap? first there's a soft cap, you want to keep this to put back on later when you take off the cart. then there's a hard sealed plastic with a lid that you pop off. i can understand where people have had issues with this but it's not that hard, even first time. i'd almost chewed my fingeres off today and still didnt need an aid to help me get it off. the siply fill it will your juice..........now i counted 35 drops before i got bored and just forced the stuff out, at that point it was about 2/3rds full..........which is way off 20 drops = 1 ml if these hold 1.2ml. then you simply pop it in the atomizer hole and you'll here a click sound when it pierces the hole on the end of the card. and if you want to change flavour you just repeat the process. just remember the soft cap for the older cart to stop it leaking, though i did shake it without the lid and it still didnt leak!
So initial thoughts: well i like it. it's simple and effective. at the moment i think it was a tad expensive but only the test of time will tell on that one. once it's broken in it vapes well. changing flavours is simple, but it does take a few puffs on it to get rid of the older flavour, but then it's perfect again lol. Not so keen of the logo on it though! so now i have to order another as im not a big fan of using multiple flavours on one atty.
I also picked up some menthol crystals from the chemist today. i mixed approx 0.01ml/g of crystals in about 5ml of plain pg in a sealed bottle and put it in warm (not boiling) water. i couldnt be bothered mixing this up with another batch of e-liquid so dripped it on the atty as it was...............and OMG! I believe my exact words were "yep that's defo menthol babe". my nose is definately clear now lol. I cant wait now to add it as flavour to some of my diy batches (im off out tonight so no time). i did buy menthol flavouring but was so disappointed. i've never been a menthol smoker but if im going to do menthol i want to feel like im doing menthol................you know the feeling of air getting around your system, the cold hit it gives you when inhaled! well this almost blew my head off!
