Got mine today also. Already had an evic but got this so cheap I couldn't pass it up.
For what its worth I'm using it with a Kanger EVod tank and it fits perfectly with no adapter. My evod is a colored one as well. Perhaps they have modified the to part of the vamo slightly so they fit now. I had tried one previously at a brick and mortar near by and it had no air flow. I'm really enjoying it so far!

Just got my Vamo this afternoon... Love it. Bought a Vivi nova (both standard and mini) the standard fits beautifully, as though they were made for each other. I threw a 510 to ego adapter and am using my Kanger t3's and WOW. I choke there is so much vapor. I'm vaping using the VW at about 7-7.5 watts. It's great thus far. I am also using 1 efest 18350 battery at a time and gauging the hours I will get out of one. Doesn't seem like that long I think it will be about 4-5 hours max i'll get from it. Oh well. First APV and i like it. Congrats!

I have a SS from China ordered and a black chrome one from Exhale Vapors in transit now with USPS. The one from China comes with Vivi Nova tanks. Also have Kanger T3's and other tanks to try. I've already received 18650 batteries and charger. I use Spinners now and am looking forward to the Vamo. It seems to be well liked.
I remain a Spinner fan. 80 days of heavy usage with the same one so far. Battery still going strong.

Take from this what you will but people are far too worried about the whole stacking of batteries issue. I am an electronic engineering technician by trade and I can assure you that there is zero worries using stacked batteries in a device that has protection circuits in place like the vamo. There is an issue if you are using this setup in a mechanical mod that is totally unprotected that is where you need to be concerned with metering batteries and being very careful.
If you install a fully charged battery along with one that is completely depleted what you will get when you fire the vamo is......nothing the display will read "LO" and nothing will happen. One battery will not rapidly discharge into the other and there will not be any sort of heat exchange or any other adverse conditions.
Think of it this way if you take your average run of the mill flashlight which sometimes stack up to 6 D cell batteries do you concern yourself with charge levels and all of the other things that people talk about? The answer is a resounding no and why do you think that is? Because there is a lot of hype about batteries and what not when it comes to PV's and this all stems from mechanical mods where if you have a dead short across your batteries you can cause the catastrophic failures that everyone is worried about. Any mod that has short circuit protection will never have any issue with any battery configuration you throw at it.
Keep in mind that just about every device out there from tv remotes to the toys your kids play with that are stacking batteries. Do you have any concerns when you slap 4 D cells into that new toy little johnny got about metering each one or do you just do it. Stacking batteries is not anything new and there is no need to worry about it what so ever.

Ha ha ...another happy Vamo owner!!!... ya know you can put a battery in it now if you want to...they come with a charge on them...and they are not like nicad and have a "reset" like the old cell phone batteries...
Vision ViVi work good but I snagged a couple of iclear 30 tanks from Vapor Beast and slapped it on my Vamo and I am in euphoria!!
I also got mine in to today, probably from the same deal. I'm unable to get a resistance reading from an eVod without a 510-eGo adapter though. If anyone else is having this issue the ones from madvapes work great with Kangers(T3/eVod)
I love this so far. I'm not a fan of the liquid I purchased to try, but have others coming. I really meant this vanilla to mix a little in to two other flavors subtly. It's a bit more buttery than vanilla I like it but will go fine in coffee...perhaps some tobaccos.
I'm not really getting huge vape hits. I'm not a hard draw smoker, and hits a little stiff...I've tried adjusting the nova thinking it is airflow. I think I just have to keep playing with this on this liquid until it feels right. Very happy with the unit though!!

After 3 weeks of torture with the Lambo 4, I sent it back and ordered the Vamo. Been using it about 3 weeks now, and can say this thing is fantastic. Does everything I want, and nothing I don't. I looked at a lot of them,(some pretty expensive) and decided I didn't need all the bells and whistles. Just wanted to check resistance, know what the voltage level was and the remaining batt life. For the price the Vamo is no brainer. I'm going to order a couple of more and put aside as backups. The Vamo is a great choice.

People can and do stack 18350s in the Vamo. I prefer not to myself and find one 18650 gives plenty of punch. If you want to fire any resistance at 6 volts then two 18350s are needed. What Phil Busardo was saying in his video was not that stacking 18350s was problematic in itself, but he was pointing out you wouldn't go to full voltage with a low resistance attachment, e.g 1.5 ohms - which makes sense. With standard resistance you could if you were so inclined. Not many people vape up at 6 volts - but there are some who do.

Correct, Vamo is set up to work at 4.2v or 8.4 safely. It has protection built in. Stacking in a mech though you're asking for trouble.

I am pretty happy with this mod. VW is surely a step up from my "VV" smoking everywhere which gave me access to 4v, 5v and 6v...
I am definatly enjoying the subtle differences in my vape and can't wait to get my AGA-T+ in THE VAPEMAIL.

You sir, are awesome. Great points of common sense made here. I really dislike all the fear mongering of stacked batteries, like they are an evil culprit out to get you. It seems like ever since that dummy in Florida blew part of his face off (call me callous) the media dusted off the pitchforks and lit up the torches. bleh, i'm just ranting now. Know your gear, know your risks, and vape on!
I just recieved my Vamo today as welll. Bought one 18650 and 2 18350 bats for shorty vaping when Im out and about. the 650 will be for home. Couldnt wait for the 650 to fully charge so I popped it in after a few hours and am enjoying it.

Do you mind saying where you purchased your Vamo from? I'm just curious.
I just ordered the black chrome Vamo on the 23rd from VaporBreak, and am waiting for it to ship. Unfortunately, they're backordered right now.
