I've been around this forum for a couple weeks now, since I started vaping. I am currently 8 days cigarette free. And amazed that after 30-some years of smoking, I actually think I could quit for good! I had hoped to cut down from my pack and a half habit....didn't intend to quit. But I can do this! I started with an Evod2starter kit and just bought myself an Emow mega as a 1week reward gift, lol. I'm finding coils and constant battery charging are annoying but hope better hardware will make it easier. I intend to keep looking for better setups for me (and my hubby, who has the exact same story as I have)
Thanks to everyone who answers questions and provides information. You don't know how many people are gaining support.

Welcome aboard CanadianJade. Congrats to you and yours for kicking the cigs. I was 2pks a day for 20+ years. You will get a lot of help and advice on this forum. I'm upgrading gear myself. Got a Vamo V6 supposed to arrive in tomorrow's mail. And a Knight Mech Mod should be here Monday. I'm graduating from single coil RDA's to dual coil. I'm pumped! Enjoy the forum. Ask questions too. You'll make plenty of friends.

I was where you're at a while ago and stepped up to rebuildable tanks and drippers. I was concerned about the hassle of doing it myself but found my coils are lasting for months instead of days and all I change is the wicks once in a while. The wire and wick material cost less than a six pack of Aspire coils and I use my MVP as an ohm checker. Something for you to consider.

I'm fairly new to the game, and started out with a beginners pen style set up, but got frustrated with the leaking tanks that are milled by the thousands in China. I made the choice to go with mechanical mods with RDA'S and RBA'S, and since that decision I'm never looking back! This has turned into a fun hobby for me, and I love learning new builds, and boy oh boy, shopping for new goodies is fun too. I went from 2 1/2 packs of deathsticks per day, to (zero). I'm currently building up stock for DIY juice, and will soon start messing around with recipes.
