I have been reading for a couple days now and didn't actually register until I placed my first order. Well now the wait begins....

A friend got a Joye 510 a few days ago and has not smoked an analog since. I am a remote control modellor so love gadgets of all kinds, and am also a musician. My decision to quit smoking is because I am singing again after a long layoff, and now working with 2 different bands. I also run my own business, (mobile auto detailing) and I got extremely sick this week from detailing a moldy van. Being stuck at home allowed me lots of time to research these things... this forum has been invaluable.

I went to the same store my friend used, vaporskitchen, and I saw the 510, then saw the t rex. I thought well that's the one for me... until I read the reviews here.... so I found the canadian suppliers and opened a page for each and looked and looked. I read about trying flavours. The deal was sort of important but variety was more important to me, as well as dependability. The eGo seemed to get good reviews here by most, so that became my choice.

Well turns out Vaporium got my business. I got the starter pack with 2 manual batteries, all the extra stuff, 7 blanks and one free 10ml of my choice. Then I ordered their 6x 10ml sample pack so I have 7 flavours to play with, 2 of which are tobacco oriented.

I look forward to vaping.

Thanks guys. I am on a few rc forums with the same username, moderator at a few too ;)
hobbies are addictions as well, just much healthier. I don't smoke in the house. I have to do it in the man cave. But I wrench at the kitchen table. so I can vape there. I've added a few things since this pic, but don't want to get my gear clogged up with yellow grunge anymore. I actually keep most of my guitars in cases because I noticed my strings get sticky. Up to 4 guitars now. Music is a cheaper hobby than the rc cars as I collect 5th scales

Welcome and congrats.
I think you will enjoy the ego. I got mine 2 weeks ago and quit cigs that day. Dripping gives a great vape but the carts are a pain.
Get a drip tip and some boge cartomizers. Also try lots of flavors, things you wouldn't associate with smoking.
A good source of info for me was "The Wonderful World of Vaping" at vapingguides.com.

Hello from another fellow noob. Just got the RIVA 2 weeks ago and I'm off analogs now. Slowly went full vaping. Little bummed about all this "ban" on these though. Hope I'm worring aver nothing.

As soon as "Big Tabacco" can find away of getting their profit out of the e-cig business, they'll call off the lobbyist and
the FDA will approve it. Its allways about the money and who is making it...

I appreciate it guys. I was reading this morning before I went to work. hour drive on the hwy to a contract I do. coffee mug... thinking about what I've read an email and know the ego t will be in vapourskitchen next week, they look cool too so said ya I'll grab one. gives me an excuse to try some flavours. I really like gadgets a lot. I can see this becoming a serious hobby (like I need another one). I'm still stuck smoking analogs until my unit arrives, but even as a smoker I like to try different things. I don't care if it doesn't taste like tobacco really. I ordered stronger type flavours to get something my tastebuds will feel. I am really looking forward to the brandy. that'll be french inhale I'm sure. every smoke break at work I was thinking about the flavours. depending when the vendor ships, should have mine this week. until then I'll keep reading.
