Hey kids!
So I feel extremely fortunate to be able to post this, as I only live about 20min. away, and it's only a 5min. detour on my way home from work:
Wicked Vaped - Mansfield, MA. USA
Instagram (unfortunately instagram seems to be having server troubles at the time of this posting)
To start, Wicked Vaped has a great staff. I'll sometimes go in for the laughs, to be honest. They are super helpful, and they do a great job steering a potential customer toward quitting smoking, rather than buying the latest gold-plated-26650-cloud-machine.
Next, we have the juice selection. They have a great selection of premium juices (all available to try), along with some local juices from Boston.
Now, forgive me for going all Martha Stewart, but the decor in this place is fab- uh... fantastic!
It's nautically themed, with TV's in each corner, and a nice big layout. It reminds me of a classy cafe or bar.
Lastly, they seem to only sell original vaping gear. This can be a blessing and a curse, as you may not be able to afford most of the products, but at least if you did make a purchase you know you'd be buying the intended quality of the manufacturer. Besides, if you're going to get a clone, you're not going to go to a vape shop where they are usually marked products up 100-200% from Alibaba.
And now to be picky - the cons, if you will. I'm not sure what the deal is with their (lack of a) website. I'm hoping it's soon, because it can be tough to keep track of all the juices/products they carry without having to go back to the shop. Again, I'm just being picky, but I'd like to check out the juice/product selection of a place before I stop in to buy something. The only other negative I can think of has to do with their tasting configuration; unfortunately the only way to taste the juices they offer is through a T3S, on top of a beat up eGo twist battery. Most B&M's (that I've been to at least) let you drip their testers onto your own RDA for tasting. If I'm going to spend ~$20 on a 30ml of juice, I want to be sure I get the full spectrum of flavor before I buy it.
I know the cons seem like a longer read than the pros, but the pros massively overwhelm the cons by a very large margin. The cons are easily fixable, and aren't deal breakers by any stretch of the imagination. I guess the closer something gets to perfection, the more of it goes under the microscope to find the flaws.
So if you live close by, this place is a must. Even if you live an hour away, it's worth finding an excuse to make the trip out.
Cheers!
