Hi all,
I signed up to try and find some things I have been looking for with no success. I am hoping someone can help me, if possible. I use 45 mm cartos with a cut flange in a 6 ml tank. I have looked everywhere I could think of for a similar tank which takes the same carto with a hole and screw in the top of the tank to refill it without disturbing anything but have not found any. I know they did exist years ago and am wondering if anyone knows where I could find them now. also if anyone knows where I could find a dual coil 1.5 o cart that is 45 mm with a flange that is cut to match the tank would be nice. I have found them but mostly they seem to be not in stock in the places I have seen in Canada. Also I can find twist batteries that I want but am wondering how important circuit protection is. I don't think the ones I've been using have it an I have had no problems but I'm not sure they don't. Sorry to start with so many questions but I'm just getting back into vaping in order to quit smoking and I know exactly what I want. Just having trouble finding it.
Thank you for reading this.

Ahh you do know the year is 2018... There are much better options now a day. If you want to take it step by step you could move up to the Aspire nautilus. I dont know if Im allowed to link but here goes.

I do recommend the Nautilus or Nautilus mini. The have been around the longest. You'll probably still be able to find the replacement atties in 2025. I think there discontinuing Pre punched cartos in 2020

@VapePro gave you links to what I think you will need, except for the cartotank. I did a quick Google fu search and could only find one like you described. It's getting hard to find stores who carry cartomizers, and near impossible to find cartotanks of any kind. They are both considered "old technology". I used and loved cartotanks back in the day, but that ship has sailed away for good.

You should strongly consider a clearomizer tank like the Aspire Nautilus Mini, which will pair up well with an Ego battery device if that is your preferred battery device.

Suggest you email your favorite twist ego series battery manufacture (Joye,Aspire etc..?) and ask the question.

No idea about the cartos, sorry. Those folks I know who have some will not part with them for any money, and I have not seen a cartotank since dinosaurs roamed the earth. The Nauti is probably where you want to be. I will never, ever, ever tell anyone circuit protection is not important. Never. That said, I can admit it is possible to vape safely without it; in fact I do so all the time with my mechanical mods. If you stick with 1.5Ω coils, your amp draw is under 3. A Twist-type battery can handle that just fine. There are also good options, both fixed and removable battery, that have such circuit protection and don't cost much, if any, more than a Twist. They do generally have a different form factor-- boxes rather than tubes-- but a lot of them are smaller than a twist and all of them are shorter. If you really want a tube, and don't mind buying used and spending some money, in your wattage range you are a prime candidate for a "new-to-me" Provari, which mods are top of the line and can be had on the classifieds here or in many other places.
