I don't drip so I can't help you much in that area.
A mod like the "Lambo" won't really give you a better vape. Volt's are volts regardless of what device you use.
You will get more bells & whistles like an LED voltage reading and battery level. You can also check the resistance of the device that you are using, and has more battery protection built in to the device. This can be very useful if you want to eventually get into rebuildables. One other advantage with a mod is that you only have to replace the batteries (~$10), whereas with a twist you have to replace the whole device ($20- $30). The batteries are usually only good for about 300 recharges, so the mod will be cheaper in the long run.

You don't mention what juice flavors you are using.
Myself, I like NET's (Naturally Extracted Tobacco). If that interest you should check this thread for recommendations.

The ego twists and vision slider defiantly looks cool. Like you said, the price is kinda high for something you can't replace the batteries in. I still think I might pick some up. I defiantly want to get into some VV battery systems.

As far as what liquid I’m smoking, I’m not sure of the company that makes it. I get it at the Vapure shop in town… I think they mix it themselves (VG stuff). But my favorite flavors so far are Gummy Bear, Snickerdoodle, Golden Blend, and Watermelon. All of them in 24mg nicotine.


You mentioned that one of the most popular tanks is the Vision mini vivi Nova, is this tank rebuildable? Or do you throw it out once it's dead? I can't seem to find the replacement parts on the gotvapes website. Also, what’s the difference in the ohms when it comes to tanks and cart's and clearo's? Are the lower the ohms the hotter it runs? I wanna start getting VV batteries but I’m not sure what ohm tanks to get and how the higher and lower ohms will affect the vaping.

I use both the Ego "Twist" and the Vision "Spinner" as they are more pocket friendly than a large mod. I have several as I switch flavors a lot. I have about 8 Mini VN's each with it's own flavor.
Yes most of the parts are replaceable. You mostly just need the replaceable heads, but you can also get colored and metal replacement tanks. The 1.8ohm (low resistance) is hotter. I prefer the 2.4ohm heads @ 3.8 - 4.2 volts. This can vary depending on your juice.
Just increase the voltage until you find the best vape. If your juice starts tasting burnt, just back off a bit.

They are more fiddly. I haven't tried them yet, but they are getting good reviews.

You need to clean them every few tank fills. Soak them in warm water or vodka, rinse, blow out excess water and let dry.
It appears that you have disposable clearomizer's. They don't last very long (2 or 3 of weeks).
I recommend getting the repairable clearo's. They are easier to clean, you can replace most of the parts, and are cheaper in the long run. If you have standard batteries (non variable voltage) use the 1.8ohm atomizer heads.

I hear you on the throat hit! In the beginning I found that the only flavors that gave me the throat hit I was looking for was cinnamon and any flavor that had "ice" added to it. I started with 24 mg too.

I have used the tanks also and now am trying the cartomizers.

Just keep trying different juice delivery systems and you WILL find your perfect vape!

Hello! I'm new here too. I had that problem too when I first started using the atomizers. The wicks weren't wet enough. I switched to cartomizers. (They are the ones that have some type of white fiber filling when you look at the top into it) and they can give you that burnt taste too if they start going dry. I don't use the small short ones anymore except when I ran out of the longer dual coil ones that last a lot longer between fillings. Iv'e even had brand new ones that I knew were filled after I filled them that had a different bad taste, not the burnt taste but an awful taste without the burn taste. iv'e yet to find out what is causing that. Good luck and don't give up. It takes time and patience and coming here to get answers to your quesions in the E-cig world.(I like to call it) Cheers!

What cartomizers are you using now? Can you post a picture of one; I’m not familiar with the ones with the white fiber filling at the top. The ones I have are the clearomizers with the long wicks in them.

So it turns out that all the eliquid I've been smoking was 100 percent VG. I kinda already knew that, but I thought most everyone smoked all VG liquids. I was reading some eliquid posts on this web site and noticed a few company's names for eliquid kept coming up. When I looked up the company's liquid, I was suprized to see that most of them used a mix of PG/VG. Back mountain brew does a 70/30 mix which is mostly PG. So I went to my local shop to see if they had any mixes. They offer a 50/50 mix of PG/VG liquid.

After I picked up a few bottles of the mix, I'm glad to anounce that I get the throat hit I'm looking for and I don't get the burnt taste anymore. PG/VG mixes are the way to go for sure I guess if your using carts and tanks.

The liquid is much thiner than the pure VG stuff, which is most likey why it works better.... keeps the wick wetter I guess.
