hi, just sign up to ECF but been lurking the forums for a little while. I am an analog smoker that got into e-cigs to help me to quit. haven't been successful thus far but I think I have cut down on analogs. I started with analog style e-cigs then worked my way to an ego kit and eventually made it to mechanical mods. my current setup is a Kamry K100 mod wit a Nimbus atomizer running dual coil (3mm wick with 28 gauge kenthal) at about .5 ohms with MNKE 18650 battery. Vapes like a beast. HAHA. I have yet to find my flavor though. still looking for that ONE.

Welcome! I'm about to start week 7 of daily vaping and although not entirely off analogs yet, I am making progress. I'm averaging about 35% fewer analogs than I was having before. Enough to make a huge difference in how I feel. There's no rush and remember, it's the analogs you don't have that are important.

I started with an ego 650 w stardust clearos. Waiting on an itaste MVP to come. Finally found an ADV and got it in 12 and 24 mg. So my own day of being analog-free will be soon I hope!

You sure know your vape gear and builts for still being a cig smoker ? I don't get it

ive done A LOT of research before I made the plunge for the setup I have now (thanks to ecf). in fact I still do research every night before I go to sleep. I guess you could say im dedicated to quitting being that im still a analog smoker.

I hope that once you find "your" flavor you can give up the smokes.

No pressure.

thanks, that's the goal. I have tried a handful of flavors that I thought I'd like but none of them is "the one". still on that journey. What's hard about it is that I cant taste it before I order it so its kinds of a trial and error thing but I also don't want to go through money I don't have trying to find "that one" flavor you know.

I have the luxury of choosing between many B&M vendors locally, so nice to walk in and sample the juices. Have to be careful though, the juice I liked in the store after trying a dozen different flavors may not taste the same once I get it home. Need a way to "cleanse the palate" in-store.

Any B&M in Salt Lake?

Wow, I found that the analogs were just in my head. I was a smoker for so many years that when I started vaping, I would have an analog for a special treat, the only thing was that I didn't enjoy the analogs at all, I actually prefered the vaping. So I convinced myself that this must just be in my head and havent smoked an analog since. Good luck to all of you

If I were you I would go to a good local B&M and sample some flavors before you buy.
When I first started I bought a TON of flavors from a lot of different vendors and only liked a couple of them. I have since found a great store close to me (if you're ever in Vegas Check out Vegas Vapor Emporium!) and I can try lots of different flavors. It has also helped me find the types of flavors that I like... I never thought I would like the fruity and sweet flavors, I thought they would make me feel sick, but now I know that I actually like them!
Now that I have sampled a lot of flavors I know what types of flavors to buy from online vendors and I have a better chance of liking them....
Good luck finding one you love and have fun finding it!!

I have a drawer full of flavors that I'm not crazy about. I have found one that I like and has become one that I have to have in stock all the time. You'll stop when the time is right. At least you are headed in the right directions. Having good equipment and learning all you can in a major plus.

thanks. i've done my 3rd online order for juices and by far the last order is the least impressive and still didn't find "THAT ONE", so i think i'll have that drawer full of juices like you.

there's a few. i have only been to the ones closest to where i live. i've had better luck at the b&m then online with juices but still can't consider it my "all day vape". i'm wanting to check out the other local b&m that's further but always run into something else that i have to d and work.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on finding gear you like.

With your particular setup it is possible that you might not find "your" flavor. I've found that I can't get a sub-ohm coil cool enough to not kill most of the flavors that I prefer. With your current setup try tobaccos, coffees, anise or cinnamon that often shine at higher temps. Some citrus juices also do well.

For other flavors you might want to kick your K100 and try a standard resistance micro coil with a cotton ball wick.

hey guys i'm new. Sam from australia...that's not my fault ok??...I'm a vape-o-holic...

it's been 105 days now, and i've moved from ego T to ego C to SVD and i got a private V2 clone from fasttech in the mail.

I've been dripping in my igo-L's for the past 3 days solid...and i've newly discovered menthol.

I'm a huge fan of menthol. only thing that i've found that has given me a consistent throat hit.

My RBA is in the mail too, i'm starting with an RSST.

If anyone can direct me to the best menthol thread? perhaps one with instructions to mix crystals in pg? i'd be eternally grateful and consider giving you my second born child...my first belongs to some other dude that helped me on my way...
