Shan: What Totally Wicked suggests is:

"there are several tips on the forums, but the best way is to get some canned air and blow this through the atomiser. Blow through the small hole (i.e. the battery end, as this will blow out any debris), do this last thing at night, and the atomiser is then clean and ready for use the next day. Don't forget to also blow through the small side hole in the atomiser."

They also suggest "before going to bed disconnect the battery from the atomiser, batteries can drain over night as they are in standby mode when not being used"

I don't have a problem with my core fiber getting into the coil of the atomiser (not yet anyway). Hope that helps some. Good luck to you. I've been 52 hours so far with only 3 puffs off an anolog!

Sharon -- Thanks, you are a gem! Adding canned air to list of Stuff To Buy (probably need to blow out my keyboard, anyway). And I NEVER would've thought to pull the battery off the atomizer overnight... great! Had a wake-up call today when a battery started blinking about 90 minutes after it was "charged"... not sure why, but I'm watching battery issues very closely now (and planning on ordering a couple of spares, 4 total seems like a good number).

Vicks (LOL @ nym) -- You may be right. I found later today that refilling carts 'til there's the barest pool of liquid above the wick yields much better hits, and the last 2 times the wick didn't stick to the atomizer. Man, those first few hits right after topping off are sweet! I'd been seeing a lot of drier wick near the atomizer, but a lot of wetness at the other end.

Can't believe how much it's possible to learn from poking 'round these boards. What a terrific community. I never realized that the mechanics and tricks of vaping would turn out to be so fascinating.
