Hello all! I recently started in the world e-cigs and vaping. I currently own an intellicig evo and love the fact I use it like an analog. But now like all the first timers I read here, I want more. I'm leaning towards getting a KGO after reading & watching reviews plus the price point is good for a kit. But looking at VVPVs like the infinity/buzz pro, provari and lavatube look like a good choice too but are costly.
So my question is getting a fixed voltage pv (KGO) be best as a step up or should I save up and jump into a VV type pv? Any thoughts and opinions would be very helpful, Thanks! :)

Welcome!

My personal progression, after about 2 months of vaping and close to 5 weeks analog free: disposables > Greensmoke > eGo > ProVari.

Got the ProVari yesterday. For me, worth every cent and in a different class from the others. But, the eGo is still a really good PV for the price. I'll continue using it when I want something smaller/more discreet.

Not sure if any of this will help. Just my brief personal experience in vaping.

A good variable volt gives you so much more flexibility and out vapes most fixed volt models. However, I would only get one with regulated boost circuit technology so there is no drop off in performance due to battery drain. I would include the Darwin in your considerations due to that technology, plus it is variable wattage.

Hello and thanks everyone for your input :D
I appreciate all the help. So I forgot that juices differ regarding voltages and ohms on various devices, hence most if not all ECF members have more than one. Since I have small kids at home and I don't want them to get their hands on my "stuff" it would be best for me to just have one device. So if I get a vv mod, and just use different cartos on it, will it be similar to having several devices with different cartos then?
I apologize if the info has been posted before, it's sometimes eye straining trying to find it in the forums. Also regarding the vvmods, anyone know of ones that won't cost an arm and a leg to start?

It is an awe inspiring thing. Handing someone a carto having them attach it to their 3.7v device puff, then attaching the same cartoon to my buzz and having them puff. The face lights, up the lips smack, sometimes they cough a little. Then the first word they utter is wow!
The drawback well I can't think of one.

I did not realize that. Thanks!

If money is an issue I'd get a fixed 3.7 volt device with some 1.7 Resurrectors to simulate a 5 volt vaping experience for alot less. Some juices apparently taste bad on higher voltage. Some people find a sweet spot and rarely use the other settings. Some as mentioned allready love the flexibility. With that flexibility you will have to have invest in different ohm cartos or atties to go along with the different settings both standard and low resistance.

3.7 device, means the Kgo, Ego, or Riva type.

Resurrector refers to a cartomizer. That is the bit that holds the juice when you vape. It is Crystal Clear Vaping's name for the 1.7 ohm single coil Smoke Tech cartomizer.

I just started vaping a month ago, and I have a Kgo. The battery life is excellent, it lasts a whole day or more between charges.

I like the 1.25 Smoke Tech dual coil cartomizer with my Kgo. But the 1.7 ohm Smoke Tech is nice too!

I got my Kgo from Hoosier E cigarettes, and think that the customer service is fantastic and shipping fast.

After much researching I've decided to go with the KGO & get some different cartos with different ohm ratings. Read a lot of good reviews on it & it's inexpensive.
Plus throw in $20 worth of cartos & I should be set to experiment with different juices. So thanks to everyone for putting in your two cents :D

Good luck :) I just got my kgo yesterday and I am already in love with it-juices taste so much "clearer" for lack of a better word-the taste difference is amazing! And I haven't even played with different cartomizers yet!

Did you get it from hoosierecigsupply or dark city vaper?
