Hello all,

New to the forums. Previously I have been vaping with a KGO, but just got my new Lavatube today and I have A LOT of questions. Not just about the Lavatube but just vaping overall. I've got a lot of information just lurking the forums, so thank you all for any input you have ever put in:2cool: haha. Thought I'd start with just a couple questions on my new ecig though. Just got it today, and Im loving it. My friend just bought a Provari, but for the price, I just think you can't beat the lavatube.

Anyways, to the points...

After getting my Lavatube in the mail today I've done some research and learned about the remaining voltage of battery feature. On a full charge with the battery it came with the remaining voltage of battery feature is showing 4.1 ... Does this mean my battery can't push out any higher voltage than 4.1? Or it will just drain faster on a higher setting?

Second question I have, as the
remaining voltage of battery drops, is it dropping the voltage as the battery drains? I'm vaping on a 2.8 atty in a Vivi Nova, and found I'm really liking it at 3.9-4.1v because it seems to be a little cooler and I like that, but if I have it set to 4.1, as the battery depletes is the voltage output dropping? If so, I dont have a very long charge in my comfort zone of 3.9-4.1. :(

Any and all help appreciated. Thanks everyone!

the 4.1 is how charged the battery is.... they will typically show full charge at 4.1x(x can be any number from 0-9) or 4.20 which is the absoulte max it should show. this doesnt effect how high you can turn up the voltage, that would be determined by your atty/carto/clearo/tank on it.

the 4.1 that a fresh battery shows isnt your voltage to the vivi nova. so if you have it set at 3.9v(not checking the battery) you will get a constant a pretty constant 3.9v's until the battery curve hits. this is usually around 3.5-3.6 on the battery indicator with aw imr 18650's.

just remember when you click to view the battery that is not the voltage you are getting but rather how much juice the battery has. also the battery should produce power till 2.8 i usually hit the charge when they read 3.5 as the curve usually push out less power and I like my vape strong.

I have a lavatube as well. Hit the power button 5 times in a row, then the display screen will tell you how much juice is left in the battery. 4.1 is a full charge and 3.6 is pretty much dead. I have noticed that when I let mine drop down that low that the punch delivered is a little bit off or that it takes longer to engage and hit. Just change out your battery and keep an eye on the power remaining in the battery (using the 5 click feature). Hell yah.

3.6 does not mean dead, just where the battery curve kicks in.... thus delivering weaker performance, they are able to be taken down to 2.8. However a heavy vapor will notice the lack of vapor and switch batteries.

Blllaaaah, just typed out a long and drawn out thank you for the responses, but it didnt post, so I'll keep it short this time and say thank you. Very helpful information, and good news to me to know it will continue to push out 4.1 to a certain point. My friends said I'd love it at 4.4v for a 2.8 atty, but I prefer a cooler vape and 3.9-4.1 really seems to be my sweet spot. Thanks so much everyone! :)

I find I'm changing out my 18650 on my original LT at around 3.8. The batteries I got are some no-name, wondering if buying a better battery might get me better battery life. There is now way with the way I vape the batteries I have will last even half a day.

many vendors sell aw imr(not all are legit aw batteries) only company i can personally vouch for that has legit ones is volcanoecigs.com as that is where i buy mine from. they also sell the aw imr 18650's 2000mah that will work perfect in the lavatube. others may suggest panasonic batteries as i know they have a growing popularity, but i have never tried those so i have no comments/feedback on those.

echo both are nice as i have owned both at one time, only thing i didnt like about the chrome was the connector pin didnt work with everything(vivi nova) as the pin had issues making a connection with out a adapter. the same can be said about the original as the ego style tanks wont work with out a adapter. however the chrome does have a hefty feel to it and is shiny which is always a plus.
