First, I'd like to say Hello to all the ECF Members.
I'm new here and I actually have yet to buy an ecig, but I have been doing my research and have definitely find this forum to be an invaluable resource which is why I decided to join.

Like I said before, I haven't and still don't own an ecig yet, but I do want to get a solid model to get as my entry model. I've already done some cost factor-analysis and I will definitely be buying eliquid to save myself the money I would otherwise spend on prefilled carts. Which leads me to my first two questions here on ECF (i bet the anticipation is killing you )
One- What would you recommend as a solid, low price entry level ecig for a beginner? So far I've been looking at the Blu/Volcano, Green Tip, Joye 510, and the m401.

Two- Which online site is the best for buying eliquid? I mean this in terms of quality of the eliquid, price, customer service, delivery speed, etc.

Thanks a bunch in advance for all the help and I look forward to seeing all of you around the forum!

Heyas!

I am pretty new myself, so I cant really answer #2 as I havent gotten that far myself yet.

However, I will say that the kr808D-1 is pretty great so far. I got the "Ace" from Puresmoker, it was pretty cheap for the starter pack, and the prefilled carts are cheapish. I got enough to get me through my startup for DIY refills and whatnot.

So far I've had the Ace for 2 days now and it's pretty awesome. No complaints from me, sturdy construction, carto works well. So that might be an option.

Ordered some juice from Tasty Vapor, so well see how that turns out.

Welcome to the forum cmbenavides!

First question: 510 is a great starter model. KR808 is also good, but I prefer the 3 piece to the 2 piece systems. 510 batt life is not great, but 2 batts in circulation should get most vapers by (three batts would be even better). Getting a PCC or passthrough also helps a lot. The 808 batts will last longer but (IMO) the hit is not nearly as good with a 808 as it is with a 510. I personally do not care for the 401 at all IMO it's a very weak hit. Can't really speak on the blu (never tried) or greentip(never even heard of that one).

Juice: Nhaler is a great place for juice. Large flavor selection of US made juice and (most importantly) small bottles. Syndicate mentioned Tasty Vapor, they do have very tasty juice as well. The problem with TV is they only sell 30ml bottles.
As a new user I recommend you only buy small (3,6,10ml) bottles, until you know for sure that you like a juice. I have tried many (very many) juices and for me it's about a 20% hit rate. So for every bottle of juice I have that I like there are 4 bottles that I don't really care for. So (in my case) that works out to about 95 bottles in the fridge that are just there as back ups and giveaways. Moral: when it comes to juice buy small until you are sure.

i got a kr8 from puresmoker about a week or so ago and i was a little unsure of it at first, but after i got used to it i'm actually really happy with it. the battery life is awesome (imo...one battery will get me almost through an entire day) and i really enjoy not having to fiddle with carts and refilling them. the cartomizers last quite a while. plus, as a bonus to puresmoker, i didn't have a problem with their shipping and if you do have to contact them with something they're very friendly and helpful.
just my $.02

thanks a bunch for the help guys. i will definitely do my research based off of what you guys have told me and will pm you if i have any questions. so far, i gotta say that i'm loving this forum. so many replies in so little time. i've been a member of many different forums and this has gotta be the most active. thanks for the welcome, thanks for the advice and happy vaping :)

I can speak on pretty much all you have listed. You're right to categorize Blu/Volcanos together, they're pretty much the exact same thing. Average drag, average taste, I do like blu's personal charging case - very convenient. I recommend Greentip to you actually, it has the best taste and anything goes wrong, they are not stingy with their customer service. Smoke quality is the best bang for the buck you can get.

510 girl here, only one I have... which is good because then I don't know what I'm missing and am used to the battery switching, etc... only bad side I've seen so far, but it's not a big deal to switch :)

As far as juices, so far Tasty Vapor and Ms. T's bakery essentials have the neatest combinations and closest-to-name for me...Halo has pretty high quality juice too, very smooth from the two I've gotten... getting ready to get some new ones from Vapor Bomb, and they've already got brownie points in my book for customer service and communication :)

'Course, you're going to have to experiment with personal preference, and it will be hit/miss at first, so get some small ones!!
