Just starting out!

So I have just recently started vaping and I thought I'd join the forum. I am a different case than most as i have never smoked before. The reason I started vaping is because when me and my friends would play poker they would all be smoking cigars. I personally hate the idea of tabacco and the taste/smell. So i guess I started so I would have my own vape while they smoke because its less harmful (Im using 0 nic juices) and tastes much better. So I first ordered a Veppo disposable cigar, and I really enjoyed it. Then I broke down and ordered a volt basic kit with 2 nano clearomizers and some juice because I wanted to try different flavors. So thats my story and I hope to gather alot of info here and meet all of yall!

I used to smoke about 2 cigs a day, then a couple of co-workers got electronic cigs and I was interested. It looked like a lot of fun, so I decided to take up smoking full time so I could get one too. Now I use it off and on all day at 24mg of nic. I think I did this the wrong way..... lol
This forum is great and there is a lot of info out there. Be patient and I'm sure you will get a lot of advice shortly. Have fun with vaping there are so many choices for zero nic liquids.

I sure hope you're vaping 0 nic...Take it from an almost 40 year smoker, it's addictive and does you no good at all.

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for sharing your story. Vaping is a fabulous hobby for me. Be careful and do your homework, even in vaping, the addictive potential of nicotine is still there, though nothing like smoking. If you're vaping at the weekly poker game, you'll be happy to know that even the FDA considers this harmless, even with tobacco:

My point is not to encourage you to use nicotine, but to provide some information for your review. We're all adults here, and making an informed decision about vaping, the gear, the juice, the delivery devices, nic level, etc. is largely subjective. Because many on the Forum had such great difficulty quitting smoking, they find it anathema that a non-smoker would ever vape. I get all that, it was very hard for me to quit, so I understand the potential quite well, but I don't say not to do it, because in moderation, even vaping is harmless from everything we currently know about it. There is a great deal of research about vaping on this website, so I encourage you to ask more questions, post more threads, and do your homework. Good luck and congrats on getting here.
