Just starting

If there is a thread that can answer my question, please direct me. Still new to vaping.

Basically, I started out about 2 months ago. I started by buying a Nemesis Clone and a Smoktech Caterpillar rda. I have only smoked with sub-ohm builds, around .4-.5 always with 6 wrap 26 guage A-1 Kanthal. I love the taste and flavor I am getting right now and the huge vapor clouds but its the only setup I know since thats what I was introduced into. Now im waiting for another Mod and RDA setup from fasttech.

Is there a big difference between going up in ohms, in flavor or vapor? Can I get the same clouds (I do enjoy cloud chasing)? Also same question with Cartomizers and Atomizers?

Thanks.

Wow you went quite deep in the vaping gear at the start! :)
I hope you're using good batteries and know their safety.

Some flavours tastes better on lower wattage and some higher.
So if you go up in ohms you'll getting abit cooler vape, and perhaps diffrent flavours will come through. It depends on the juice realy.
And if you like cloud chasing i'd suggest high VG e-juices.

For mods you can check this place out: APV Discussion
And for rebuildables you can go here: Rebuildable Atomizer Systems

The only reason I started with that setup is because of my cousin who started me only vapes sub-ohm. So really I had to go off what my cousins vape since I don't really know anything else. They are cloud chasers also. I did purchase the Sony VTC5 and that is all I use in my mods. Since this has been the only way I vaped since I started 2 months ago, that's pretty much all I know. The flavor seems to be awesome but a lot of people say going up on ohm's makes the flavor better. I guess the only way to find out which method I prefer better would just be to try it and see. I dont know if my opinion would be biased since I started a certain way but who knows, just gonna try. Thanks for the links and info.

The words "just started" and "sub-ohm" make me really nervous when strung together.

danca90, understandable. I have heard that a lot lately. I'm glad I started with people who were pretty knowledgeable in vaping. Thats how I was taught off the back. I pretty much jumped right into it the first week, buying a bunch of equipment for rebuilding coils and measuring them.
