I don't know how much equals big investment to you but it isn't compared to what you are talking about spending for mixed stuff. The liquids you would need for 100ml would be about $16 add about $5 for shipping (plus that is enough to have some leftovers for future. A syringe and 18 gauge needles at tractor supply less than $5. If you have kept empty bottles you don't have to buy those.

I just mixed my first test batch today. I ordered higher quantities than just mentioned but not near the quantities some here order. So for me it's about $1.07 for 10ml. If this works out I'll increase the quantities and could easily drop that down more.

You can vape as soon as you mix if you need it but steeping is best. I have to wait until next weekend to know if my mix is just tolerable or great. If I didn't have enough to get me through I'd tear into it now.

3 weeks from ordering to opening your first batch.

That's really not that bad...wow. I would like to try it but at the moment I'm just happy sticking with good deals and such! When I'm ready Imma give it a whorl! :) worse comes to worse Ill enjoy making something myself!

I have a couple of favorite places and it all depends on what flavor I need to order - even by the same name flavors can differ a bit from vendor to vendor.

The biggest maker of most of my favorites is MBV (Mount Baker Vapors) and I can usually get an order in two days as its pretty close to me. I lucked out with a B&M close by that carries some well known brands and a line of 'generic' (no clue where it comes from but some flavors are very good for the price) so I am never far from juice should I run out or suddenly hit one of those spells where nothing in my cabinet is appealing.

As for an ADv I don't have one and not chasing one - for me change up during the day and evening seems to make the flavors taste fresher and not 'worn out' because I have tasted them re-fill after re-fill; Mood also plays a part on what flavor I want when I want it. I collect the small 6ml bottles samples come in to use to carry several flavors during the days so I can switch out.

The only time I cam close to being without was during the past two weeks - although my cabinet was pretty full and I had some MBV vape mail in the mailbox. - my daughter had back to back surgeries and in the middle of that my mother broke her hip and both were in different hospitals - one in Seattle and one across the lake on the east side. I was on the road from one to another and my little 6ml bottles not only got way low but under the stress the flavors were just not right. Finally at 11PM one night I had to have hubby meet me in the hospital parking lot with a box of flavors...

Oh, yes by the way I semi-stealth vaped in both hospitals - without being brazen no one said a thing to me even when they saw me.

First of all, It's so good to see another Alabama vaper around here! Everyone has made some great suggestions. I personally am stuck on liquids from heather's heavenly vapes. They're in Georgia and their prices are decent for a custom juice company, and shipping would be pretty quick for you I imagine. It usually only takes 2-3 days for me. I'm pretty sure they have some blueberry flavors also. I'm really on a mountain dew kick right now, and theirs is amazing IMO. If you like tobacco flavors, they have plenty of solid ones to choose from (Legend, Shadow, Dragons fire, etc...). Also, one that doesn't get mentioned a lot but I personally love is Halo's Longhorn. Hard to describe, maybe like a sweet cigar, but definitely one of my favorites. As for menthols, I can't help you there as I haven't found a great one so they're really not my thing. But stay strong and sample as many different flavors and vendors as you can afford to find that elusive "all day vape". Hope it gets better for you!

I'm really stoked about the order I have coming at the moment...but also really excited to pick up some cheap extras for testing and such!
Halo is nice but over priced...I almost dumped like twice as much money on their hardware before I found a better older site. Eh...I could try them...but I'm sticking to saving a buck and trying everything. I'm not hard to please as long as I have a good flavor I'm happy.

Hey, whatever works! I just know I wasn't thrilled with cheaper brands but I hope I can find some better options for that soon. Trying to stockpile juice is killing my wallet right now!

Wow...that's harsh. To be honest why my week was so bad is that my father had to have spinal surgery this morning...and he nor my mother know I vape. Their anti-smoking so I figure they'd hate this too. Being the family CNA I volunteered to take care of him the nights he's in the hospital. So here I am all night unable to sleep...can't vape in the room...don't wanna leave the room. And on top of that I'm low on juice...and stressed out on how long it might take me till I get my other juice...blah. It's just not my week!

It's killing all our wallets!! And as for Alabama vapers...I have seen a group on here with a few of us...plus we are gaining more and more shops locally so were probably going to have a flood of new vapers in AL!

Be wary of some of these new shops you see cropping up. A lot of them are just loading their cases with knock-off stuff and re-branding juices they buy on the cheap pre-mixed. They aren't going to be knowledgeable - they are just trying to make a profit. I'm not saying they ALL are going to be like that, but I would hate to see fellow vapors and possible new vapors anywhere getting turned off to vaping because they overpaid for sub-par equipment and juices, and then get crappy customer service on top of it when they have questions or want to return stuff. I'm all about spending my money locally on small businesses, but not if they are selling me garbage stuff. Just my :2c:

To be honest I think we have a shop in my town like that...it's sad but still it's nice to have an emergency plan.

I personally wait for good prices and even if that's online, I'm still happy. Just as long as I don't run out of juice while I wait.

I had it figured out that as much as I wanted to be in the room - heck everyone has to retire to the ladies room now and then - but I was able to while napping on those great guest beds aka folding chairs they give family members - but then my daughter knows I vape :)

Haha! I'm lucky enough to have a couch...I at least slept some. So that's good.

2 of the most instantly likable flavors are menthol and RY4/ RY5

They are also both great to mix with a normal tobacco juice (nothing fancy, usa mix, dk-tab or whatever) if you want to make them a bit bolder / less sweet.

I like RY4...and mixing sounds like it with tobacco sounds good...but it's already tobacco?

IMO there are some very good designer or high end Juices out there but they are expensive and sometimes hard to get, I have found a few flavors from MBV and do a little DIY for the bulk of my day to day vaping I get stuff like Pluid, Alice in Vapeland ect..... for a treat those will last me several months. Its nice to have them for desert vape or a relaxing bed time vape or just having a rough day so treat my self vape.
