Okay. I have an idea. I am not sure if it has been suggested yet(kind of skipped around sorry). But you might want to try going for a flavorless VG and then just adding in your own little bits of flavor till you get one you like. I don't do a lot of DIY yet, but this sounds like it might help. Just little simple things nothing too complex.

You will have control over you flavors and if you only make little batches you can adjust to your liking.

It's hard finding the flavor that's just right. I just got a new one in today and I am on the fence about it. "Is it too tobacco like or maybe it's just right.".

You will get there. You've already done the hardest part and gave up the cigs. Good luck to you man.

As far as the nicotine goes no matter how much you use you are still going through some withdrawal of the thousand of other chemicals that was in cigs. The first month or so is hard but if you stick to it will get better. The first month I basically fell apart. I had sinus problems and my body would ache all over.

Now all that is over and I have never felt better. I use 18 mg nicotine but I found out that my cravings have stopped! I can all day if I need to without vaping where I could never do that while smoking. That what determine to me that there was something else in cigs that was hooking me to them.

Amen to that. There is more to cigarettes than just nicotine. Vaping helps curb the urge but you still have to work through it. It's tough.

I'm a DIYer and the more buttons my PV has the better I feel. I just love having full control. Got a bunch of flavors from perfumersapprentice

Some VG pg and 50/50 mix. 100mg/mil nicotine and will be venturing into making flavors as soon as I get time. I have a few sample batches to get me by.

Good luck. This is more of a support forum to me. The more people that I see that have quit, the better I feel.

I am the opposite. I like a decent throat hit in my juice. MTbaker has some very good prices and very good juice. At 18MG of nicotine and 12 their hawk sauce didn't give me any throat hit at all. You should take a look into their juices. They have over 200 flavors and they throw free samples in all the time. They also have an online customer service where you talk to a person live. Great vendor, might help you with your dilemma of finding a flavor and lack of throat hit. They're an amazing vendor.

What kind of gear are you using? That can make a difference in the throat hit, too. Personally, I like strong flavor, but not strong throat hit. One thing that may work for you, if you haven't tried it already, is a bottom coil clearo, like a Kanger T3, Evod, or Protank. I think the slightly cooler hit from the bottom feeder makes a "softer" hit.

edit: Oops, I must have missed the part where you said what gear you were using...

I totally agree ^^^^^

I noticed that fruity flavors aren't quite as harsh on throat hit. Bottom coil devices and a longer drip tip will help cool the hit before it hits you some. You are already getting a softer throat hit with VG and lower nicotines. One thing I noticed you didn't mention, what voltage are you vaping at and what ohms on your atomizers?
