Hello all:
Just wanted to share my joy. One month in to ecigs, and last night I threw away my last pack of analogs (which I've been having ONE a day of for the last two weeks - tasted yucky but couldn't "waste" them)!
When I stumbled across the forum and started reading about everyone's great results I was skeptical to say the least. So saying I consider this little experiment a success is putting it mildly.
Thanks to all the great vets that have helped me through several stumbling blocks. Would never have continued without all the great advice and encouragement. I hope to pay it forward for some time. I want every smoker to at least try the ecig - the first day I knew it "could" work, within 10 days I knew it "would" work.

Congrats to you! I had a similar issue...last pack of analogs...didn't want to waste them...till they fell in a hole in my golf cart and I couldn't get 'em back out. Just left them there and started vaping like crazy...haven't looked back yet...it's been 2 weeks. No symptoms of withdrawals at all.

Congrats! its feels great doesnt it?! I started vaping Jan 27 and have had smokes since then...but did not enjoy them at all! couldnt wait to get back to vaping (emergency reasons for smoking analogs...like dead pv's due to various reasons lol) i am actually at the point of lower nicotine levels and even vape flavorless sometimes. never felt better...at least not in 20 years lol Congrats again! May your vaping be long lasting!

Yaaay!! You sound exactly like me! After 30 years of smoking since the age of 13, I really did not think anything could ever help me quit. It has changed my life and I give so much credit to the peeps here at ECF for being here to help sort out all the pieces and part of information I needed to get started in the most successful way possible. I wish I could give everyone of them a hug! Gratz!

Sadly, I'm still smoking about a half pack of analogs per day. A relative got me a Social Smokers Starter kit from GreenSmoke for a birthday present, July 1st. I was and still am quite thrilled with the idea of ditching the analogs. So far the GreenSmokes' kit has some carts I like very much, and some not so much. Therefore, I'm not using everyday, all day. Have done a lot of reseach here on this forum and other websites to figure out, that some extra batteries, blank carts and e-juice is the way to go. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can anyone suggest an e-juice that would compare to Virginia Slim Menthol Lights, also what nic level, I smoked a pack a day.

TIA and warm thoughts,
Leslie

ETA, tried to remove a Greensmoke top, to check on refilling. After watching the video, my top did not come off as easy, in fact, I destroyed it. Did they change the design?

I regret to admit that I have been cheating a bit. The e-cig doesn't give me quite the same rush on the first cig of the day as does a Camel 100 and so I've been smoking 1 (or fewer) a day.

However- my taste buds are working better, my lungs are working much better (I am a fairly serious brass instrument player in a number of community groups) and I feel better all 'round. Just got an Ego-T (might be more convenient/stronger hits than the KR808D-1) so I'm pretty sure this will be an answer long-term.

On the other hand, I feel better for having a pack of cigarettes in my pocket (and Sunday i visited family members who love to bum smokes, so I bought a pack so that they would not be disappointed).

Leslie - I started out with a ciggie unit and it just didn't cut it - got an ego, BOGE 2.0 cartomizers, some juice I liked and haven't looked back. Better equipement really makes all the difference.

Have you tried the PV first thing in the morning? I didn't think it would satisfy either till I tried it and that's one of the best vapes of the day! 1 a day is great tho!
