Just upgraded to an ego after using pen styles and pass thrus for three years. Could not resist it. It was eight quid off a street seller outside mc Donalds in Derby . Got the battery ce4 and charger. Seems to be well made and works fine. Cheapest I've seen so far. Will keep all my pass thrus and cartomizers for my back ups. They're also doing juice at 3 pounds or 2 for 5 quid. I think i got a good deal a whole new set up for the price of 20 B&H . Happy vaping

The next time i go into town i will get a couple of bottles of juice for a fiver and see what its like. We are getting spoiled for choice in Derby and i think the competition is going to drive down the price . A year ago i had to order off the internet and now its on my doorstep. I asked the guy in the liberty flights shop what they were going to do when the new rules come in in 2016 and he didn't know. By then a good percentage of the population will be vaping and hopefully the M H R A will rethink there position.

Three years is damned impressive. I didn't knock the analogues on the head until I upgraded to an eGo, and even then I had slips; it's only since I got a VV mod that I've not had a single one.

Similar to me... i managed 2 weeks on the cig-a-likes before needing to upgrade. If i hadnt upgraded at that point i think i would be back on the analogs now. It was probably only around 2 more weeks before i upgraded to VV and from that point on I've never had the slightest craving for an analog.

Funny thing is I had a couple of drags off someone else's, when I just had the eGo, and it was pretty disgusting. I only gave in and smoked a few when we'd had a few drinks one night. Now even sitting next to a heavy smoker on the train irritates me.

Yep, the smell is pretty nasty, although you never really notice it all that much when you smoke.

I still have a few of my cig-a-likes (10 motives) left and tried one the other day - actually not that bad, but really they are only good for about the first 50 puffs or so then effectively useless. Still, the vanilla flavour in the 10 motives cartos is the best vanilla i have tried by a mile - wish i knew where they got it from.

well i am still using my ego with ce4 for 8 pounds and all is going well. the vapour dropped off after a few days so i decided to clean the ce4. i took the top off and the rubber sheath off that sits on top of the coil and put a sterident in a saucepan with some water with the ce 4 and brought it to the boil and boiled it for about 5minutes. i then poured out the liquid gave the ce4 a good since then boiled it again in clean water for another 5 minutes. cleaned it out and blew through it to get rid of the water. reassembled and after about ten minutes of puffing it was back up and working. working as new. like to think with this method of cleaning i might get a month out of one. we'll see i suppose. if anybody knows of a better means of cleaning i am all ear s . happy vaping.

i have just invested in another cheap ego ce4 and charger. this time it cost me 9 quid. i also bought a spare ce4 for 3 quid. i now have a back up for everything. so far very impressed . they sell just the batteries for 5 quid each. i bought some of their juice too 2 10ml bottles for a fiver . that's a total of 25 quid for a complete setup plus back up. way cheaper than smoking . hope the stuff I've bought lasts a long time. happy vaping.

At those prices each one only needs to last 3 or 4 days to be cheaper than smoking :)

Back ups and stockpiling are your friends with vaping, assume whatever you are using is going to get broken/lost and the same with your back up, have another back up to tide you over until you can get replacements in.

If you want cheap liquids check out the Liqua! Hangsen and Dekang brands at FastTech.com shipping takes 2 or 3 weeks though but is £3-4 for 30ml if you can find some flavours you like.
