Today, I decided to go to one of my local vape shop, thinking to buy couple bottle from "the collection". Then at the end, I walked out with a chi you clone and a igo w lol... Story of my life. Usually spend more than I intended to! But definitely happy with the set up. Not so much on igo w! Dripping and driving not really my thing....

Dripping & driving as in driving a car? No, that probably not a good idea. :)
Gratz on your new mod. :)

I like my CHi You clone except that I have to be very careful how I put it together. If I do not get the various adjustable discs on the pin set right the thing will fire even when locked if stood up on its end. It performs beautifully. Ya just have to be a teensy bit careful how you set it up. :)

What should I know about the chi you clone? The pin press better than nemisis (to me).

Yes!!! What other tanks would you recommend? I can't afford a real kay fun, those are way too out of my range.

Depends, but maybe you should try a kayfun from FT? They're pretty cheap.
Other than that i dunno, a clearo of your preference.
I've just bought aero tank to tinker with. Gonna use it with nemesis (haven't got mine yet still waiting, snail mail...) :)
Because you can rebuild the coils for them so they're almost like an RBA. :)

Before I chose to do mech mod I already have couple months of practicing a protank rebuild. I'm afraid ft Kay fun or trident are really bad that it isn't worth waiting at all, everything I got from ft just in a really low quality. My vamo 2 that I purchased, I have already returned twice cuz fire button won't fire... I'm scared of ft lol

Yea i understand you, it's quite a gamble.
Perhaps if you buy from Hcigar? I've heard that they got better quality but i haven't experienced myself, yet. As i'm quite new aswell. :)
But i've heard that aerotank is almost as close as RBA you can get in terms of performance & you can rebuild them. So perhaps that could be an option aswell? They will not sit flush on a chi you though, aero is 18mm i think.
I'm getting one in my mail hopefully today. :)

The king is so much better than the chi I have the surefire the hcigar and FT version and I personally prefer the FT only downside not reverse thread but hits so much harder than anything else I got

THe one that I have If I do not set up the various adjustable points like the 2 rings inside on the positive post and carefully snug things up my Chi clone will fire WITH the locking ring engaged when set it down on its button. It just takes a little fiddling to get it right so that the locking ring does what it should and acts as a safety.

Not a big deal just something to watch for.

I got my Chi You 2 weeks ago with an Omega rda. I must have watched every video there is on building coils and did nothing but build and try different ones. I got an Igo T last week because the post holes seemed easier to build dual coils on...it was ! I prefer a single on the Omega around1.5 ohm for my daily vape. I burn through so much juice on the duals. It is fun chucking clouds, lol.

Id like to find a tank to take on the run, but what one ?

Honestly I run a plain old fashioned IBtanked carto tank with a Diver Rebuildable in it. Though if I had it to do over I would go with the Sophia instead of the Diver. The new Diver 2 has an hourglass shape and big slots not holes. FOr me that means refilling the tank is a mess and the big slots get gurgly if I do not get the wicks exactly right. So Since the old Diver 1 nearly impossible to get now the Sophia is much more like the Diver 1.

Is the smoktech rsst nice and have good flavor? Is it easy to rebuild?

gave mine away, it did work but I wanted the tank for going out and this thing was leaky.

I went to a kayfun clone from fast tech ($15 one), was an awesome device until it fell apart lol. think im going to grab a different kayfun clone to try sometime later.

Is the kayfun hard to rebuild? I don't have a drill lol and all those bigger tools.....

the post dont have holes through them so IMO its a little tricky to catch the wires. will get easier over time im sure. dont need to drill it out. the normal kayfun has airflow adjustment and the kayfun lite I had was a pretty airy draw to begin with, almost as airy as my dripper set to 2mm

It's the easiest thing I've built. The reason is there's so much room to work. I've built heads for Protanks, Vivi Novas and CE5s and they're all harder because of the tiny space for the coil. I find it to be even easier than IGO-L and Nimbus RDA. Kayfun coil base is wide open and its easier to wrap the wires around the screws than an RDA in my opinion.
