i just got my 510 yesterday and vaped for a good hour and a half today. the liquid that came with my starter was the 18mg Toffee, but i didn't really feel much nicotine from it (not until i puffed on it for a good while) or maybe it's because my vaporizer hasn't been broken in yet?

Obviously, i wont have the luxury to puff for 30minutes at a time at work during breaks, so i was wondering how the 24-26mg range e-liquids feel to you guys?

i normally smoke camel lights, molboro lights, and parliaments.... but so far my first experience with the 18mg hasn't been that great.... i enjoy smoking them at home, but if i'm out and about, i'd rather find something that's really like a substitute fora cigarette, instead of having to stand there and smoke for an hour to feel like i've smoked 1 full cig.

by the way, how many (18mg) puffs = 1 cig ?

I just quit smoking 12 days ago and I used to smoke Marb lights 1pk or so a day. I also have the 510 and started with the 18mg and went right up to the 24mg. It is working pretty good but I think you should do the lipton pyramid tea bag mod as that works great. You can find it on youtube under Moobyghost LTB mod You can get more liquid in your cart when topping-off and it vapes a whole lot better. I might try the Totally Wicked DIY kit next as it is 54mg that you mix yourself and cut it to whatever you want. I am ok with 24 but it just takes longer kinda like the 18 but not as bad. I might also upgrade to the AltSmoke BB to get the power hit that I'm searching for that the 510 just doesn't seem to give alot of.
Anyhow just stick with it and you will do great even though it could be a hassle at times it is still better than smoking:thumb:

I think you're looking at it all wrong, and I also think you are putting too much weight into the nicotine factor.

I smoked a million cigarettes. I can't say they even really satisfied my craving for nicotine. Cigarettes never satisfy. They are just one way to feed the addiction. I don't think you are as satisfied off one smoke as you say.

That being said, try a higher nicotine strength, but never expect to be satisfied when it comes to nicotine, no matter what the source is.

You probably need a higher nicotine, I did. I got the toffee ecopure it was 18mg, and I like it but I have to vape constantly to get anything like you say. I also have some 25mg and that is better, at first it even gave me a rush, not anymore I've been using it all day, now I think I need even higher like 30mg or so. But the 25 will keep you more satisfied,at least it does for me. I have no clue how many puffs equal what, but I drip only so far, and I feel like two drops on the atomizer is about equal to a regular analog.
Stick with it, I'm finding this is getting easier every day, but I'm still getting those urges.
But if I vape when I get one they do go away.
Good Luck

What do you mean by satisfied? Being light headed and dizzy from the nicotine? Or do you mean (as most do) the feeling that you do not want any more as your throat is coated and your lungs feel full?

The latter comes from eiher juice chemistry or heat from HV devices, not the nicotine content. With ecigs, most of us can keep going for ever in a way we never could with analogs.

that is so true I think I need a HV mod and better juice. I nevver feel satisfied and I vape like a fiend but it is keeping me off cigs comfortably. I too am looking for that perfect combo that I can hit a few times and be good instead of geeking on this thing constantly.
Got any advice on good juice?

There aren't any commercial juices I have found with this feeling. Try adding a little citric acid to a sample of your favourite liquid and see what you think. There's not much else you can do with a 3.7v PV to get the effect.

Heat is a big part of smoking cigarettes. E-cigs are cold at 3.7v but as you say, can keep you off the analogs.

I am unusual in my choices, I use the Iolite for the relaxing and satisfying warm vape and just use 3.7v e-cigs at other times to keep my nic levels in check. We all have different needs and preferences and its easy to spend a small fortune searching for the ultimate vape. The key is to truly understand what you are looking for rather than just going by posts from people saying 'this is the best just buy it'

I found that if I used a strong Menthol with a higher nicotine content it squashed that 'want a cigarette' craving. I get nice throat and lung hits. I made menthol drops with Everclear grain alcohol and menthol crystals purchased from eBay. Very inexpensive (and will jazz up any crummy menthol or other tobacco e-liquid flavors that aren't very good). I never smoked menthol cigs, but enjoy rotating menthol in all day.

One tip with menthol. Dedicate one atomizer to it and mark it some way (I use a tiny green star sticker). Some flavors mixed with menthol are nasty and this will prevent you from having to clean out atomizers often.
