I agree with most of the previous posters:
Never mind, sh** happens, we all learn from our mistakes, and - in the case of
vaping - we will just be better prepared next time
I had it happen twice (in almost 2 years of vaping):
1st time - 3 weeks into vaping - had only 3 batteries at the time - 2 broke (charger defective) and 1 was charging. Friday evening. Germany. No offline store around.
Smoked the last 5 cigs in my pack that had been lying on my table, untouched for the 3 weeks after I took up vaping.
Eeewwwwwww, yucky! Went to bed feeling dizzy, probably from a slight slight carbon monoxide poisoning.
Lesson learned: Stock up on batteries. This sh** ain't gonna happen to me again.
Result: I could just about open a store with batteries and vaping equipment now
2nd time - went out with friends - greatly underestimated the time I would be gone - did not bring enough batteries and lent one PV and battery to a friend who had forgotten hers. Sat in a beer garden with friends with no way to vape - agh! - Bummed tobacco cigarettes of my friends.
Eewwwwwwww, yucky! Came home and vaped away a whole 1 ml at once - to get rid of that taste in my mouth, throat etc.
Lesson learned: take enough vaping equipment wherever I go. (I got a little vaping kit). This sh*** ain't gonna happen to me again.
Result: Check vaping kit carefully before leaving house, just like I used to make sure I had enough (discount-bought) cigarettes and a working lighter.
Never mind, dear. Do not feel bad. Next time, you will be prepared. And all will be well
Edit:
and thank you for sharing your experience. It may well help other vapers to be well prepared.
