Ok so some of you might have saw my post about getting sores in my mouth about 2 weeks ago. In that post I said that I thought I was over reacting and it was probably just a virus or something. WELL IT WASN'T and now I'm annoyed, disappointed, and back on analogs (for now).

The sores just kept getting worse so two days ago I stopped vaping and bought a pack of cigs. Now, 36 hours later, my mouth is completely healed. Now either that was a serious coincidence (I can't believe I spelled that right on the first shot) or vaping was causing them.

On Thanksgiving I ordered Halo Menthol Ice and a Tornado. Before that I had a 510 and was vaping the Chinese Menthol 24MG from Madvapes. The sores started appearing the day after I started the Tornado/Halo combo.

A week ago I stopped the Halo and went back to the Madvapes stuff and there was no change. They kept getting worse.

Now I stop vaping, switch back to analogs for 2 days and they are completely gone.

Only thing I can think of is maybe a PG reaction? I don't think I would have went a month and a half of vaping my 510 with the Madvapes juice without noticing a reaction though.

WHAT DO I DO?

I would try your 510 combo again and see if the sores come back. They healed in 36 hours? Wow you must be a quick healer or I am a slow one.

You can always order some VG only juice and try that with the Tornado.

I hope it works out for you because vaping is so much better than tobacco (IMO).

Heal, meaning that they stopped hurting or getting worse. They are still there I just can't feel them.

I kind of thought it was kind of quick too. Makes me think that either it was a virus and it just happened to go away the same time I made the switch or it was the juice and once I stopped using it they calmed down.

You could try using the original juice you started with. If the sores come back it could be the PG, or something else in the liquid. If not, maybe something in the Halo Menthol Ice. There are so many things that could cause allergic or other reactions. Not all reactions show up immediately.

I have had some "reactions" and I do not have a clue if it is due to vaping, or quitting smoking, or aging, or something else. With the fact that the sores got better when you went back to analogs it could be something in the juice. You will have to "narrow it down" by ruling out each one.

Best wishes! Have a Great Christmas and Holiday Season.

I occasionally get sores on my tongue, but I figured out it's because I vape at 5V with a drip-tip, and the atty will occasionally "spit" hot liquid, which burns my tongue. If the sores are throughout your mouth, then this probably isn't the case for you.

The Chinese liquid you were using is almost certainly 100% PG, and the Halo juice is probably at least partially PG. Some people have a PG allergy. As Rudy suggested, trying a 100% VG liquid might just do the trick. I'd give that a shot before I wrote off vaping completely.

I was a menthol smoker for over 30 years.
I am a vaper of about 35 days.

I have menthol from several different vendors.
I have one, that on the second day of use, I hurt all down in one of my lungs and
the back of my throat was kinda raw....

I could not do any menthol for several days, while this cleared up. I just went the chocolate route with
no menthol added.
I cannot use that specific menthol at all!

So, my personal thoughts is that it could very well be the menthol, specifically the brand/maker of the menthol that you were using when these sores appeared.

These menthols have alot of kick to them and can aggervate a situation.

Try juice with no menthol and like the others said, perhaps one with VG

there is a member on here that described the same problem, but her solution was to get rid of the VG since that was causing her problems. So it may not be the pg that is causing the problem at all. Find out how much pg/vg was in the original ejuice that did not cause the problem and look for more with the same proportions to try.
