You could try stretching the spring out and putting it back in. Either that or go buy a brass spring. Not expensive at all :)

Is there a spring inside the button assembly? I checked out the spring in the battery tube, and that spring looks fine to me. I was thinking there was a spring inside the button assembly which is the one that needs to be replaced.

Uh...unless im mistaken I believe there is only 1 spring in the entire mod and thats the one inside the button assembly. Thats the one im talking about. Take the switch apart and replace the spring

The switch assembly does screw into the body, but the parts in it are still considered to be the switch assembly.

The only spring in that device is in the switch.

Unless I totally misunderstand what you are talking about, which has happened before, but luckily for me not too often :thumb:
