Main reason I started this account is really to ask this question.

So I was a heavy smoker, stopped, and use some nice mods at home. But to go out and walk around (I live in NYC so I'm constantly walking and surrounded by people) I would use whitecloud minii flings ordered online and delivered. I did this because they were discreet etc etc. I don't need everyone in downtown brooklyn asking me what weird metal device I have in my mouth while I'm walking to work. Anyway, a local vendor was sellling K500's and they were basically the same thing, small and discreet but refillable. I thought this would completely eliminate the need to order 10 to 25 disposable whitecloud cigs from florida every other week, plus I could use my own juice in them.

BUT when I got it I found the only way to make the K500 fire was to pull on it super super hard, and even then it was inconsistent. I find myself literally standing in front of a mirror to see if it lights up blue and its working. No method of using it seems to work yadda yadda yadda.

So my only question is, does anyone have a K500 and have similar issues (maybe I got a bad batch?) or does anyone have a joyetech eroll and the eroll doesn't have the same issues?

PS I'm a little drunk so I'm rambling

Thanks for the super quick feedback, its like 1:30 here in NY.

Jeremy: I'm trying to expand the air intake aperture but the only part of it that I can change is the silicone washer on the tank. Either way the manner that its designed there is really no way to make it more open (the atomizer spikes into the cartridge, so even if the silicone cartridge hole is opened up any airlflow is going to be restricted by the diameter of the spike on the atty. But its has to be designed to work better than how it is for me because its barely is functional. The K500's main air intake is in the front (where the burning tip of an analog would be) but the air intake on an eRoll is on the shaft of the battery, so I was thinking that may make it easier to vape - however I can't believe the K500 even if its just a clone of an eroll is supposed to vape like this because its entirely unpredictable and I get lightheaded how hard I need to pull. I also use pure PG in it to try and accommodate airflow but to no avail.

Dead not sleeping: Dude that totally looks like the kind of "walking around model" I'd like, but I dig the PCC of the eroll or k500, so I know I won't have a dead mod on me and freak out and start bumming cigarettes from people. I may pick one up and an eroll because it does look like what I'm looking for. And I would return it because I am sucking a golf ball thru a garden house with this thing, but the vendor I bought it from was Origin Vape in manhattan and the guy literally drove hours thru saturday NYC traffic to deliver it and some other stuff to me and wouldn't even accept a few bucks tip from me (a door to door vape service? sooooooooooo cool). So I'd feel bad returning it.

In Short: Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll take both of yours advice by a) ....ing around with the K500 and trying to get it to work up to par and b) picking up a Halo as well as an eroll

PPS I'm still a little drunk so sorry about the short story length response

In the ecig world we have to modify a lot of stuff to suit our needs. When you draw on it feel were that air comes in, see if you can get to that hole and enlarge it in any way, maybe just take the tip loose. Like is said I don't have one but this is the same kind of issue other devices have. Tight draw. I hear a lot of good things about the eroll.
