I purchased a Kamry S1000 Mech mod to use with my Aspire nautilus the other day, and I was really impressed with how it looks when it came in the mail. I was excited. I took it apart, put the nautilus on the top and put it back together properly. Once I inserted my AW IMR 18650, I noticed the mod was completely too small to comfortably house an 18650. Without some very uncomfortable over-over-tightening, I couldn't even dream of getting it to fit. Is there some kind of secret, or is the S1000 a plethora of lies?

Not sure how you are trying to set this up or what you might have wrong. Pic would help.

This is a Telescopic mod:
Secure Atty to Top Cap
Attach Cap to top section
Attach switch to bottom section
Loosely install center section to Bottom section
Drop Battery into Lower sections
Start Top section on Middle section.
Snug top and bottom sections equally to center section.

There is no Tight in a Telescoping mod - Snug works, Tight Breaks things

Edit: Noticed, you have an AW IMR BUTTON TOP - this is a very tight/short mod. You will likely need an Efest Flat top or any other 65mm Flat top.
