Kangar Sub-Tank Mini Coil woes

Ok, so I've been searching and no luck.

I've had the sub-tank mini for 6 or so months now; I use mine every day. I've noticed lately, however, that my replacement OCC pre-built coils are really only lasting a week before they seem to go bad.

I haven't gotten into the RBA's yet (and not really interested), but I can't figure out why these OCC pre-built coils are lasting a fraction of the time I expected them to. My e-juice is ONLY from Mt Baker Vapor and have tried max VG to my most recent purchase of PG 65%.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Did I set my expectations too high on these coils?

What makes you want to change your coils? You may be vaping more often than you were at one point.

I don't use the coil heads that you can buy very often at all, I've been using the RBA since not long after I got my first sub ohm box mod. But I have never had a problem with the coil heads lasting. They all seemed to last much longer than Aspire BVC and smaller Kanger coils.

What keeps you from giving your RBA a try? That is the real selling point for the sub tanks :D

+1 for using the RBA. I got no satisfaction from the OCC coils, since I started using the RBA my ST Mini has been in continuous use.
You have both cotton and a coil in the kit, give it a try it's much easier than you imagine.

Wow, that does seem easy. I've already purchased the 26ga wire. I'm committed to this tank, so here goes! I'll keep you updated! Thanks everyone for your input!
