I got a new Aerotank the other day and I fell in love with it right away. Then I took it off to re-fill the tank and it stopped working. I tried everything and got nothing. Took it down to my local B&M, he played with it and it finally worked after changing out 3 coils. He gave me a few extra coils, since I bought the tank there, and now it's happening again. I think I read somewhere here that QC is not that great at Kanger these days. Has anyone else had trouble with these coils??

My experience has been center pin related. The sealed secondary pin can cause connection problems. I've had it happen to me and one of my local friends went back to a B&M three times with this problem thinking it was bad batteries. I've also seen some weird resistance readings using Aerotank base on other Protanks. Next time I'm going try pulling the head pin out slightly before installing it to see if that helps.

I encountered a similar issue yesterday. Loved my first tankful. Washed, filled with new flavor and... bad, bad gurgle and little to no vapor. I didn't have much time, so I tried reseating the coil in the base, thinking that might make a difference--and it did, up to a point. Less gurgle, still no vapor. I was using my itaste v3 for power. I had to leave it for the time being... I'll be revisiting it this morning.

The center pin being referred to is part of the airflow base? Is there a resolution?

No, it's definitely not the center pin. I'm using it on a ProVari and it keeps showing an E1 error. Meaning it's not firing/connecting. (I've had those issues with the MVP before and knew to check for that) Also checked the pin on the AeroTank. Personally, I think that the coils are bad.

I just re-seated my coil again and my MVP2 is reading 2 ohms (correct), no gurgle (yay!), and vapor (not as much I had hoped, but it's a new flavor from a new vendor, so I'm not too sure what to expect with this one).

I also read on another thread this morning, that someone else had issues with the coil upon their first refill. I'd say try re-seating the coil (if you haven't already) and/or try a different coil.

Yeah, I have been playing around, changing out coils. Right now, it's working again. It's most definitely a coil issue. Just wondering how many others have this problem...........
