5/31/14 #1 Good morning everyone. I believe this contest is over...but heck...I am giving it one last shot. I can't believe June begins tomorrow. It seems like yesterday it was Christmas. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed this contest. Good luck everyone!!!!

Contest will end May 31st 12 am Hawaii...

This means it probably is... ...but may not be (until we hear official word). BTW, 12 am Hawaii time should be 6 am Eastern/3 am Pacific, if I'm not mistaken.

As far as Memorial Day, even the weather seems to be conspiring to contrast with last week...

More trivia....
Small American flags are placed at the head of each gravestone during this holiday in Arlington National Cemetery.
The commemorative tradition at the famous cemetery began in the latter years of 1950. Twelve hundred of today's military soldiers
place flags on over 260,000 graves the Thursday before Memorial Day. It is then guarded 24 hours a day during the Memorial Day weekend to ensure that the flags remain standing. The national cemetery is located in Arlington, Virginia across the Potomac River from our nation's capital, Washington D.C.

I think that is an amazing thing they do!

I think it's amazing at all the little things that people do in different parts of the country--yet all the traditions are tied together in spirit.

I just realized that this is the second time I've been confused about the ending to this contest. I should get myself checked out...
