So I bought my Aerotank a week ago and it finally came. Unfortunately when I proceeded to put in the coil and fill up my tank, the only thing it did was gurgle. No vapor, It just gurgled and shot a little juice into my mouth (ew.) I have no idea what wrong, I've cleaned it like 10 times, switched coils, anything i could think of, but nothing would fix it....

Anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

I've had the same prob with my brand new protank 3(2 of them defective) 4 vaporizers tried. Running on Ego C-Twist. I'm going to post this afternoon about Kanger, check it out.;)

Thanks everyone for the speedy response :)

Unfortunately, Evan, I read some things that said that, but that doesn't make sense to me because my liquid is already 100% VG....

I also tried opening and closing the rings at all different levels.... sometimes liquid would even leak out of the air holes....

Oh ok. How about this. The liquid you've got has too much water in it. I've had liquids in the past that were as thick as water, didn't work, didn't produce any vapour, just gurgled and leaked. And they were 100% vg.

Your liquid is too thin, probably a high PG liquid. In my experience don't work too well in bottom coil clearomisers. You've flooded the coil and it won't heat up properly. Get some thicker liquid. 100% vg !.:)
The gurgling means there's too much liquid getting to the coil because too much is seeping out at once.

I dont think that will help because i am running `100% vg thick and sweet and my brand new protank 3's are doing the same thing! Just sayin'.

When i found that Kanger were producing the dual coil in their Protank III i was a little disappointed. I thought "if i get one of those the rebuild is going to be a bit of a pain". So i never got one. I've got a Protank 1 and a Protank II. Both are single coil and i rebuild both. Sometimes, if my build isn't perfect, gurgles etc, i'll just add an extra 1mm flavour wick on top. Just need to fill the gap to stem the flow a bit. Rebuilds are easy on the protank. I can't really see the point of a dual coil because i'm perfectly satisfied with a single coil.

If you haven't got any silica try a tiny bit of cotton wool.

that is how i fixed mine. it was a new coil and it gurgled like crazy so i took out the flavor wicks and put a piece of cotton yarn in there and now it dont gurgle but doesnt wick fast enough for me so might have to take out a strand of the cotton but ive been using this coil for a week and before i did this i was putting a coil in everyday. hope you solve your issue

I was using my PT2 with the Aero air flow control base today and all was fine. I make my own e-juice using 100% VG. I changed to a new coil and now the gurgling would not stop. I followed your advice and removed the two 1 mm flavor wicks which were doing nothing and added a 2mm piece of silica, put back the top to the new coil. What a difference. No more gurgling. Thanks so much.
