Hi folks. Iv been vaping for over a year now and iv tried various different tanks, clearo's and cartos but recently just purchased myself a new Aerotank by KangerTech which i have atop my ITaste MVP v2. To start with on the first night using it, at 10W the vape+flavour was great and was gettin a great throat hit but after a while, after a couple of nice puffs I was gettin a slight burnt taste. I would leave it sittin a while then try again, same thing would happen, first couple of puffs was good but then the burnt taste would come back. Now the strange bit, after a few days and coils later and different setting changes, I now find that vaping at just 7W through the Aerotank im getting Great vapor, throat hit and flavour and its been a couple of days at that setting. What I dont get is the coils I use are official Kanger Protank3/Aerotank dual coil heads at 2.0ohms which I though could withstand a good kick at between 8-10W but is better at just 7W. I thought Dual coils could take the heat?

Honestly, I'm no expert but I hated the thing. I bought it for my provari and it worked great the first day. In fact I was ready to purchase another one but my local B&M was sold out of them. Second day I experienced the same problems you're describing here so I changed the coil, worked great agin. Next day the burnt taste came back, changed the coil and all was well. This happened about 3 more times over the course of a week. I just gave it away to a friend of mine but let him know it burns through coils every other day. Personally, I wouldn't take one for free as it just doesn't seem worth it to me and I would consider it the most unreliable piece of equipment I've purchased since I started vaping. I love my mini pro tank and it's been rock solid since I purchased it.
If it continues to go ok at 7W then im happy but with a new bit of kit like the Aerotank with its airflow control and Dual coils ud expect to put a good amount of power into it 
I have a different vw device, but I found the same thing. My juice was burning at high voltage like 10+. I found a chart (can't remember where) that showed a range of about 6-8 watts should be ideal. I was using an aspire tank at the time and actually dropped the wattage by 0.4 when I bought an aerotank.
Desperate to try the Aspire Nautilis but went with the Aerotank because the price was basically half of the Aspire price, kinda startin to see why
