What coils you using? I had issues with the older 1.5 ohm coils (the ones with "wings"). Chronic flooding. Haven't had any problems with the enclosed silica ones, though. In fact my Aerotank Megas seem to be more forgiving of my vaping style than my Nauty Minis, which gurgle like a mofu.

Weird. I've used protank 3's and the EMOW's that use those coils and I've never had a flooding issue.

There's a few things outside of what you mentioned that you could try.

-Make sure when you take apart to top up or refill that you clean out the center post, juice tends to get in there when it's unscrewed and then it seems like it's flooded.
-Make sure the coil is securely screwed in as far as you can get it. If it's not screwing in properly then juice can slip under it and into the airflow controller, or onto your battery if it doesn't have an AFC.
-There's several versions of these coils. And they all suck compared to the new VOCC ones you can get. They're a vertical coil like the nautilus and made with cotton and they outperform the other types. As a last ditch you could try those.
Here's a link to one of the local sites here, you should probably not buy from them if you're outside Canada, but just so you know what you're looking for.
Kanger VOCC Coils - 5pc - eCigMod Canada | $14.99 CAD

And I really want to say it's just a dud, but you've got two doing it. Did you buy them both from the same place? If so, next time you buy, maybe try somewhere else?

Never any flooding with either my Aerotank or Aerotank Mini.

You must use the coil heads designed for the Aerotank / Protank 3 .... Using coil heads for the Protank 2 will cause flooding do to there different size.

I have actually had better luck with the older version of the Protank 3 coil heads that have exposed wick ends than the newer Protank 3 coil heads that just have a couple of small holes on each side (non-exposed wick ends).

Either way, make sure the box they come in say Protank 3 / Aerotank.
