I've been using the Aerotank v2 for a few weeks now - no problems at first. I was actually having a bit of a love affair with it. However, in the last week I had to start ratcheting up the voltage to get a good vape on it. I checked the resistance a week ago and at the time it read 2.7 on a 2.0 factory atomizer head. When I was back in the store today we checked it on a few different ohm readers. It read from 2.2 on a dna 30 board up to 4.7 on standalone ohm readers. We then checked the atomizer head directly with a multi meter and it was fine. I tested it again at home with my MVP and it showed 4.5 when loaded with a fresh out of the package atomizer head. I put the same head in my old Aerotank and it read 2.0 on the nose. So it would seem that the base on the v2 has failed. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone had success in getting Kanger to replace defective parts?

If you are certain it is the base (best to test same coil head against another v2 base), I would address it to the vendor that sold you the v2. They should replace your aerotank if you used it in a normal fashion. They can have it replaced by their supplier or kanger if they purchased directly. Contacting Kanger for replacement might proof difficult for you as consumer.

Got my replacement base from MVS. It's reading 2.0 consistently - my faith has been renewed. Thanks MVS!

Also got the new style base. I am liking it alot.
