Got it today and very impressed indeed.

Came in a little presentation box with a beauty ring, a pair of O rings, two dual coil heads and some very concise instructions.

Finish of the unit is A1 superb, ready to use, no oil and all I had to do is screw the head into the tank, fill her up, screw it onto the Kmax to test resistance and set voltage and a great cloud of vape with lots of taste and throat hit.

I like the way it cannot leak through the sealed connection, it is narrower than the KFL, bit wider than the Taifun GS, highly polished good grade stainless steel and a flawless pyrex tank make it look really good.

Airflow control is what makes this stand out as well, easy to set using a very nicely milled ring and allows for a very airy draw if that is what tickles your fancy. It is also completely able to be disassembled into component parts for thorough cleaning, a plus for those of us that like to keep them shiny.

Here's some pics, if you want something an ease to use but nice looking, then give this a go, its a bit pricier than your usual BCC but the flawless production of this unit does make it stand out :)

Flavour wise, I would say just under a KFL or Genny but it is very airy making for large clouds, wicking wise it can't be beaten as it can cope with my chain vaping which can lead to a dry pause on my KFL heheehe.

It sits quite nicely on a standard 3.7v battery, I have it on my Hammer right now and it tastes the same as if it were on the Nemmy or the Kmax, over volting it doesn't seem to add anything, I swapped out the dual coil head for a standard MT3 single coiler and the difference is quite a bit, so I would advise users to get the dual coil heads whenever possible, the finish polishes up well with a gentle polishing compound like Brasso Duraglit and I dropped it today silently cursing but it didn't break as the pyrex tube is really thick so its fairly sturdy imho.

How is yours Vaping? Big clouds? Also what voltage are you at?

Just asking because I received my aerotank today and I'm a little disappointed with the vapour production. I have some cheap and cheerful Vision V3 clearos and even they produce bigger clouds! (Though the flavour is lovely). I've only got 1000mAh, 3.3v Ego-C Upgrade batteries right now - do you think that's the problem? Not enough voltage perhaps.

I'm running it on a standard mech mod like the Hammer or Nemesis which is 3.7, it sits there quite nicely at that.

I can't take a pic of it but I have just obscured my whole screen in front of me with two puffs

3.3v on my ready reckoner chart I got off here is a touch on the lower side for a 2ohm single coil which pitches the best ball figure at 3.4-3.7v, the dual coil head I imagine would need a bit more welly behind it, if you have a standard single Kanger head or one that fits out of say an eVod, see if that improves things as I reckon your battery would be spot on for a 1.8ohm single coil tank, the only other thing I can think of is you might have a defective coil head as I have seen on FT and other places that Protank 3's can have a hit and miss thing on the coils and some ppl saying their dual coils not working properly :(

I read a review the other day saying that the iTaste VTR is practically made for the aerotank, so I'm seriously considering upgrading to a VTR as soon as I can afford it.

I just switched the coil to the second one that comes included but it hasn't made a difference. If it was defective, so is the other. Aside from getting a VTR, I think I'm gonna have to have a look for some single coils that will fit in the aerotank without causing leakage.

Getting a bit of a headache from all of this now :(

Okay. I put my ego-c into variable voltage mode - which starts it at 3.7v, decreasing the voltage as the battery level lowers. I used my freshly charged ego-c to ensure I got the full 3.7v and just as I thought I would, I got a much better vape. Definitely going to invest in a mod that allows me to put the voltage higher as this seems to have at least partially solved the problem.

It does sometimes get that way, trying to get things to work as they should, the frustration even now in getting a SS mesh build to work on my genny Steam Turbine just annoys the hell out of me, yet ekowool works outta the box every time lol.

I've just tried my one on my Kmax set to 3.3v and the difference is there, flavour is muted a fair bit imho, back up at 3.7v and its back to where it was :S

Just the normal single coil pro tank/evod coils will fit. With the dual coils, I've noticed they need a bit more power. 4.2 is perfect for me with the aero tank. The VTR limits you as far as what tanks will fit. I would suggest getting the MVP 2 instead.

Thanks for the suggestion - it's good because the MVP 2 is cheaper that the VTR and I'm financially ruined at the moment :p However, I've heard the Aerotank fits well in the VTR and I'm planning to stick with the Aertoank for the foreseeable future.

On the plus side, I've definitely come to grips with the Aerotank now. My poor ego-c does well enough for now with high VG liquid, variable voltage and the airflow tuned to how I like it.

Great tank :D

What pg/vg mixture are you using and have you had any problems with dry hits or anything? I'm interested in the Aerotank but am a little hesitant because of my experience with dry hits and such in the past. I vape 50/50 all the time. Thanks. Also what have you found is the best price for one? Thanks again!

Love it! Just got it a few days ago but so far its awesome!! I do get a little dry hit every now and then with my 50/50 mix, but I am still messing with the airflow to get it dialed in just right..

EDIT: I just realized this pictured doesn't have my aerotank on the vtr.. oops..

I've got the Areotank and it has been working great for me, it may be that I'm pretty new to vaping but it has been what I was looking for in a clearomizer at this point. The adjustable airflow works good and is very easy to dial in to the right setting. I've only used it with the dual coils it came with, I still got 3 boxes of the single coils from my Protank 2 mini that I will use up before buying new coils so I'll see how that works when I switch them out but for the 27.99 I paid for it, it has been money well spent.

Let's try that again.. I typically use my vtr with the extension because it is so heavy and I am vaping pretty much nonstop.

I just got my VTR this weekend, and my Aerotank is... not happy with it. It gets really difficult to screw off and the adjustment ring gets stuck easily.

I love the tank but it's being a real pain on this unit. Any suggestions?

I use mine on my VTR. I haven't had any issues yet?
