I recently purchased this tank from my local vape shop and I've had nothing but problems. I use it on my MVP 2.0. It gives a burnt taste every time and I've switched the coils three times. Also sometimes when I suck in I get e juice in my mouth and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Is anyone else having these problems or did I just happen to get a bad one.

Had some problems with mine with the taste, was resolved by deep cleaning in Hot water a few times. Straight from the factory products like that still have machine oils on the product which cause a bad taste. soak it in hot water and let the tank dry out for a bit. Dry out the coils completely and try again. might take a few cleans to get right.

As for burnt taste you might have it set too high on the volts. try crank it down around 3.7 volts and go from there. 6 watts is what i use on my aero tank and my SVD.

for the just part check the little rubber cup on the chimney of the coil and make sure it's seated all the way down.

FYI - I took the chimney off and added a small piece of cotton going over the top coil and re assemble with the chimney and the rubber cup seated all the way down and see how that works. Called adding a flavor wick and does what it's name implys

It may also be your airflow setting.

For thicker juices close the airflow down a bit to create more vacuum which will draw more juice to the coil, this will fix burnt hits, unless as the previous poster suggest you have voltage too high.

If it's leaking or gurgling open the airflow up a bit which will reduce vacuum and will help you avoid leaking in to the chimney.

Also make sure the head is tight in the base.

Since I have started using airflow I no longer care if I have 1 flavor wick or 2 flavor wicks. No longer need to remove one for thick juices or add one for thinner. Much easier to give the airflow control a spin than it is to mess with those tiny pieces of wick material.

Also agree with the oil theory brought up by the previous poster.

Hope this helps

When installing new atomizer head,
1) let it sit for few minutes to get the wick wet
2) start low voltage (3 - 3.2v) and pulse it few time while puffing
3) once you get a good vapor going, raise the voltage to 3.4-3.6v. pulse it again while puffing.
4) start gaping normally and raise the voltage as needed

if the atomizer head is flooded and gurgling, turn it upside down to drain it. let it drain for 15 - 20min.

Another tip I would add to your list with Kanger or Kanger style heads
After screwing a new head into the base, wiggle the chimney off and drop 2 or 3 drops of eliquid on the wicks, this primes the wick and has you ready ready to vape almost instantly after filling your tank. Works for me anyway.
