Kanger Clapton Coil Crackle

So I have been vaping for about 5 mos-I am learning. I have an issue with spitting when I use my Kangertech Xbox Mini using some Clapton Coils. It seems that some coils spit and some do not. I have narrowed it down to the coils, ruling out juice or tanks as the issue.

I bought a pack of 5 CCs and it seems 3 of them so far are spitting. I noticed that the top of the coils are not uniform. Sometimes the wire is sticking out, sometimes you cannot see it at all. I am wondering if this has something to do with the spitting, and possibly if there is a way to repair the issue without throwing out all these coils. Here is a shot of the coils-one bad, two yet to be used.

I am considering buying another brand coil if I can't find a way to repair bad ones. I have thrown out two already!

In my experience spit back generally comes from having to much cotton. I notice it in some rdas and simply remove some cotton to solve the problem. Did your tank come with an rba section? If so are you prepared to learn how to build coils? This will be your best way to avoid spit back.
