First let me say that I love the Kanger line of clearomizers. I am currently using Aero V2s, Mini AEROs, and Mini PT3s. But I am having a problem with the attys.
I have found this problem using them on the eVic Supreme, Spinner and iTaste 134. When the are tightened snuggly (so they simply won't wobble), the center pin cuts through the silicone insert and shorts the positive leads to the body of the atty.
Obviously for the Mini Aeros and Mini PT3 if you tighten them down too far the atty pin makes direct contact with the terminal and is pushed up. I was surprised when this happened on my Aero V2 this morning. The center pin on the base is solid (unlike the nautilus which is a spring), so there is no give here.
I am going to be looking into making small teflon spacers to fit inside the bases to give me a little clearance while retaining snugness.
This question was raised before by chuck0302 and r_sizzle. Wonder if they managed to figure out a way to fix it.
Anyone have any ideas?
