So I've been using the new .8 coil heads for a week or two now in my Aerotank Mega and have love them. But now, they suddenly are performing like crap and aren't wicking properly. With 65/35 juice, I could let the wicks saturate for a good ten minutes but then end up with minimal vapor and a slight burnt taste.

How can I fix this and why did it happen out of nowhere? Did I get a bad batch?

Supposedly according to a youtube video I watched the. 8 need several hours to soak up juice. Don't know why. I have used two .8 and one 1.2 and neither wicked properly. Both were burnt immediately. I will eventually use the remainder of the two five packs hopefully one or two will work, but never buy again. Stick with the 1.8 I guess.

Yeah, I might just stick with my 1.5 coils. Such a shame, I loved the warmer vape and extra kick of the .8 heads.

to prime a fresh coil, block the airholes and draw on the tip to suck liquid towards the coil.

when you change between 1.8 ohm coils and 0.8 ohm coils, you need to adjust the voltage.
the 0.8 ohm coil would be a dual coil and would take more power than a single coil head.
or it might be one of the newer triple coil heads

I'm using a mechanical mod, so I can't really adjust the voltage. And they make triple coil ones now? The .8 heads have two small circular slits on each side, whereas the 1.5 ones have one long slit on each side.
