Well that's a bummer. I'm interested in that steamcrave squonker though. I have a brand new reo that collects dust because I want more power. Still have several bf attys I would love to use, like the Nuppin.
Too much power for one battery?

Cause otherwise, it's a simple fix.

Saw a reviewer checking out the dripbox the other night on Youtube.
Looked ok to me, quite surprised at the price though, $30 seems quite cheap.
They are selling these with a kind of detachable base plate with pre wicked coils already attached that screw into the base of the rda. I should imagine within a few weeks of release a V2 will arrive with the creases ironed out though ;)

Just went trough couple reviews for Dripbox.
Some of my thoughts:
Those bottles are looking really stiff, and combined with an RDA of such type i believe you have to push the hell out of that bottle to get the juice up. RDA it self seems to produce a decent amount of vapor, that replaceable deck seems like a nice feature but it comes with a disadvantage too. Basically, every time you squonk, you have to fill the chamber underneath the deck before with the juice before you start wicking your wick. And that means a big and long pressure on the bottle to get the juice up to the wick.
I'd rather see the mod firing constant 20-30 or what ever Watts then firing the voltage of the battery.

For now, i'll pass this one. I am looking for some cheap and affordable but regulated squonk box, and thus i'll be waiting for Dripbox V2 :)

I have one sitting here. I'm a dedicated MTl vaper. I do not and will not lung-hit. Debating whether to try to build it to around 0.5 or just put a more suitable atty on it...
We'd like to see what you come up with.

Though I'd forgive you for taking the favored route.

I just got Mine today didn't care for the rda so I threw a Manta v2 on it and it's surprisingly an easy sqounk.... The sqounki g wasn't bad with there's but sacking on a tail pipe doesnt appeal to me.... I like a restrictive lung hit and Flavor chase... This thing is an awesome lil (tiny) mod.... I threw a 14 Wrap dual parallel 28 gauge nichrome 60 and it's vaping amazingly! The bottle works perfectly with that upper sliding plug that fits snug so the bottle needs to be firm because if the way you pull it down but its an easy sqounk with any other atty!

I was just gifted two of them. At the $30 price point it's a winner (even at $45). Own REO grands and a CC is my daily driver. Using only for 24 hours so no idea on longevity. I can tell you it's not going to have the durability of either of those mods but, IT'S $30!

People might be thrown off by lack of VW but, it hits hard and consistently. I decided to use the provided rda and pre built coils for testing sake. I found I needed to raise the coils off the deck more to align with the rda air openings. Also, I like the air flow closed off to half using the top cap control.

I'm impressed. No leaks. Bottle squeezes easy enough. Liquid dispenses into the deck around the outer edge of rda through a number of holes and drains well. Battery cap is adjustable for any size variation in batteries.

The mod itself is actually a identical to my CC in every dimension but, just a tad shorter. That's compact. 7ml 18650. Very lightweight. 5 clicks on/off.

There's a plastic "cork" that slides up and down the metal feed tube and appears to seal the tube when the bottle is removed. If so it's a pretty neat design. On the negative side could be something that breaks removing the bottle.

Things I can see breaking even in my brief time are definitely the magnetic bottle door. Flimsy. Someone over squeezing the bottle could possibly bend the metal feed tube. Other than internal failure that's it. Did I mention $30?

Oh and removing the bottle is a little tricky, forgot that. Also, I could see changing flavors being more of an issue with this design than a REO or CC. Thoroughly getting previous flavor out might be a little more work.

Rda is re-buildable. I could be wrong but, 510 doesn't appear to be adjustable or spring loaded so may not work with all RDAs.

I think it's a great introduction to bottom feeding, squonking or whatever you may like to call it...

Now all we have to do is wait for something adjustable from them. I have the Reo from the picture but i have gone beyond mech about a year ago. It's ok while the battery is fresh, but for my regular builds that are around 1.0 Ohm, as soon as the battery goes below 3.8V i can feel the vape is changing, and i don't want to carry 4 spare 18650 batteries just so i could have my vape the way i like it all day at work. So i gave up on him and now it's collecting dust on the shelf. Was thinking about Sunbox or something else with decent board, but all those things are way to expensive to be carried to a construction site and sustain the dust and fresh concrete all day. Was looking at some chinese mods and that steamcrave, but too much negative comments on all of them pushed me away. I'm thinking about modding old Hana clone box into a squonk with DNA 30 in it, but i have no time to play with it, one day maybe... Untill then, i'll be waiting for Kanger to go out with regulated squonker and keep vaping my Nextiny clone :)

I consider myself a pretty heavy vaper. Vape dual at .4-.6ohm roughly 5-7ml a day which is a lot in a bottom feeder. When I get home after roughly 12 hours on the same battery (LG HG2 20amp 3000mAh) I might be just around 3.8v give or take. Mil how are you ripping through a battery on a 1ohm coil?

Well, for now I opted for a different Brand. Got a decent deal on a 60w TC bottom feed single 18650 that uses a standard size 20ml bottle. Should make switching Flavors as simple as swapping the RDA and dropping in a different flavor tank.
I don't much care for switching flavors on the same wicks.

You'll have to flush the feed tube too. Like the idea of regulated but, the extra space required for the board and such puts the overall size just a bit too large for me. Plus when I started vaping regulated devices failed without fail. They're pretty reliable now it seems. Some of the things they're doing with the rx200 are pretty cool.

Converting them to BFers using two batteries and the third slot for the bottle. Hopefully you like squonking...

Just one more step in my Vaping education. Figured a couple of extra pieces of Tube for quicker swaps.(Rinse at leisure)
Gotta keep up with the Jones' :w00t::w00t::w00t:
I'm pretty happy with my single 18650 Regulated Mods and Mech's, but have an X Cube II and a Full size Luggy, compliments of ECF.

I'm just thinking the Squonker will be nice when I want an RDA Vape while out and about. No Dripping and Driving!!!:D

Sorry, didnt get notification about you quoting me. Well, there are days when i'll go trough 4 tanks on my nextiny just like that, and there are days when tank and a half will be enough. It all depends, but id say around 7ml. The thing is, my pulls are around 5sec each and i do chainvape, so when i take my vape, i do like 4 or 5 pulls one after another before i leave it for a minute or two and then repeat again. I have noticed one funny thing tho. Most of my friends are subohming and the spend less batteries then me. We go trough approx. same amount of juice and i need almost 2 full batteries (4.2V down to 3.2V on regulated) while most of them have one battery enough. Figured its prolly due to my long draws and chain vaping...
