I belive they refer to the sound it makes when you squeeze the bottle and it slurps it up.

That would be correct.

As far as my battery issue goes, I contact Kanger about it tonight (as well as the wobble due to the battery door) and we will see what they say.

Your not the only one that has that battery issue, I really dont think Kangertech will do much for you, but its worth a shot let us know if they brush you off or stand behind there products. I think a quick fix for the batteies woud be to file or sand down the battery sleeves.

That was originally my plan, but I figured I would give them a chance before I took that step. I figure the battery door issue will go away as the springs lose some springiness with use. But might as well ask, right? Sending an email to Geekvape about a stripped screw on my Griffin got me a replacement deck. :D

It Never Hurts to Contact the OEM.

And I know that KangerTech Posts on the this Forum about the Quality and Performance of their Products. As do Many/Most OEM's.

Yeah, other than a couple little things and the tearing of my battery wrap, I do like the device, I hope I made that clear. I am not all about complaining, I worked in CS too much for that.

Nah, I just worked in Customer Service too much, period.

I just want to switch my batteries after lunch at work without tearing the crap out of them. Right now I am using the USB charging to recharge it after I get home. And taking a 2nd device with me to work so I can finish the day and get home without going crazy. :D

P.S. Can any one enlighten a newly confirmed Squonker on where the term "squonking" comes from, please??

The term was coined by ECF member Jack Murray. The post below captures the birth of the term "squonk".

So jumped in the car after work and figured I'd top off my bottle before getting in traffic to head home. Well when I pulled the Lil cover off to remove the bottle it slipped out of my hand. The good Ole one in a million shot it flew in the gap around the handbrake and disappeared.
Guess I'll eventually dismantle the interior to see if I can find it. If yall thought it rocked when sat down before try it without the bottle cover lol.
At least it doesn't affect use.:(

They *should* be able to help now that they have a service center in Atlanta or somewhere in the US iirc. Months ago I had a wobbly Topbox and they happily replaced mine after checking with my receipt.

Just ordered the silver/titanium one, and I have a question partially related to this mod.

What chip does Kanger use exactly these days? I remember a year or two ago when I first got into box mods I had a cloupor mini, and that seemed to be a Yihi. Now right after that I got a Kbox Mini and I just assumed Kanger also oursourced their chipset and use Yihi as well. And then I got their Topbox and assumed the same thing and I was ...... at its TC performance. Wrongly did I blame it all on Yihi! Apparently I was being wrong for almost two years.

Secondly, it ripped a gash in one of my battery wraps the first time I removed the set I had put in there. Of course, the batteries didn't come out easy, which is nice when swapping batteries, bad when it decides to take a half inch of wrap with it. I needed new batteries anyway.
My batteries were brand new, bought specifically for this mod. Now, they are unusable until I get them re-wrapped. I should've asked for a couple wraps when I exchange the device. My bad.

Other than that, I'm enjoying it. I would definitely prefer a slimmer, one battery, VW squonker in this price range.

If Kanger made a Single Battery VW DripBox similar in size to the DripBox 60w, I think it would be a Huge Seller.
